2019-20: Dove at four meets, including the RMAC Championships, where he was an exhibition athlete… Posted a season-best 11-dive score of 341.85 points on the 1-meter at the conference meet… Had a season-best score of 354.20 points on the 3-meter at the A3 Performance Invitational.
Prep: Placed seventh at the 2019 MSHSCA Boys AA True Team State Championship on the 1-meter diving board as a senior at Hibbing High School... Had also placed seventh at the MSHSL Class A State Championship as a junior.. Won the 6A Boys Sectional earlier that year after finishing second at sectionals as a sophomore and eighth at the AA True Team state meet in 2017.
Personal: Is majoring in criminal justice... Wants to pursue POST certification and later get into the FBI.
Why I Chose CMU: "I chose CMU because I wanted to be in a larger city but also wanted to have a feeling of a small town and CMU fit that perfectly. I also wanted to see some other parts of the country and the change from Minnesota to Colorado has been one of the best decisions I've ever made."
