2023-24 (As a Freshman): Competed in 11 meets, including the RMAC and NCAA Championships… Earned a pair of CSCAA All-America honors in the medley relay events… Helped the Mavs finish seventh in a school-record time of 3:10.31 in the 400… Also swam the breaststroke leg on the 200 team that finished in 1:26.91… Also had a stellar conference meet, winning two relay titles while scoring in all four of his individual events while setting then personal best times in each… Reached the championship final in three, earning the silver medal and a First Team All-RMAC honor in the 100 Breast, one of his three all-conference certificates in total… Also placed seventh in the 200 Free and eighth in the 200 IM… Won the consolation final to place ninth in the 100 Free… Scored 49 team points in his four individual events while contributing another 24 ½ in three relays… Set NCAA qualifying times in five total events while swimming the breaststroke leg on the Mavs’ winning 200 and 400 Medley Relay teams… Helped set the RMAC Championship record of 3:11.92 in the 400 distance… Set a NCAA qualifying 100 Breast time of 54.02 (adjusted) in the 100 Breast prelims… Set an adjusted 200 Free preliminary round time of 1:38.33… Turned in a converted time of 1:49.43 in the 200 IM finals… Set a 100 Free adjusted time of 45.34 in the prelims… Went on to lower his personal best in the 100 Breast to 53.98 seconds, good for 17th place at the NCAA Division II Championships… Ranks second in CMU history with that time… Also finished second on the RMAC season-long performers’ list with that time… Was ranked eighth in the 50 Free at 20.58 after swimming the lead-off leg on the Mavs’ “B” 200 Free Relay team that won the heat… Also placed 39th in the 200 IM (1:50.50) at the NCAA Championships… Finished third in the 100 Breast at the TYR/CMU Invitational… Named as a First Team CSCAA Scholar All-American.

Prep: 2023 graduate of Apex High School… Was a 2-event finalist at the North Carolina 4A Central Regionals in February, placing third in the 100 breast and eighth in the 200 free… Had finished seventh in the 100 breast at the 4A State Championships as a junior in 2022… Also took third in that event and fifth in the 200 free at the regional meet.

Personal: Is majoring in exercise science.
