2026 Summer: Competed at the Speedo Sectionals in Austin, Texas while representing San Gabriel Aquatics… Finished tenth in the 50 Back and 12^th in the 50 free.

2025-26 (Freshman): Competed for CMU in eight meets, including the RMAC Championships… Scored in all four of his individual and all three of his relays at the conference meet… Finished sixth in the 100 Back with a career-best and altitude-adjusted time of 49.73 seconds… Also placed ninth in the 50 Free and set a career-best time of 20.37 as the leadoff on the Mavs’ “B” 200 Free Relay team… Placed 11^th in both the 100 Fly and 100 Free, setting a career-best time of 49.59 (converted) in the 100 Fly… Helped the Mavs win the “B” section of the 200 Medley, 200 Free and 400 Free Relays… Set a NCAA “B” cut time of 44.84 in the 100 Free at the TYR/CMU Invitational.

Prep: 2025 graduate of Georgetown High School… Placed fifth in the 50 Free and seventh in the 100 Back at the 5A UIL State Championships as a senior… Took seventh in the 50 Free as a junior in 2024 after finishing third in the 50 Free and eighth in the 100 Fly as a sophomore at the 2023 meet.

Personal: Is majoring in construction management… Has aspirations of becoming a general contractor with hopes of getting into real estate… Son of Jayne and Gerardo Pineiro… Has three siblings— Julian, Daniel and Lucas.

Why I Chose CMU: “I love the location and the atmosphere when I went for the visit I knew I would love Grand Junction.”
