2024-25 (Sophomore): Swam in ten meets, including the NCAA Division II National and RMAC Championships… Claimed a Second Team CSCAA All-America honor thanks to a 16
th place finish in the 200 Breast (2:00.06) at the national meet… Also placed 20
th in the 200 IM (1:48.38) and 24
th in the 100 Breast (54.28) at the NCAA meet… His 100 Breast time was a personal-best that ranks him fifth in CMU history… Was also a NCAA qualifier in the 200 Free, but scratched out of that event at the NCAA meet… Placed sixth in that discipline at the RMAC Championships, turning in his NCAA “B” cut and personal-best time of 1:39.37 (altitude-adjusted)… Shined at the TYR CMU Invitational, recording his national qualifying times of 54.71 (100 Breast), 1:56.83 (200 Breast) and 1:47.70 (200 IM), marks that ensured national meet qualification… Led the RMAC season-long performance list with the school-record setting and meet winning time in the 200 Breast… Also took second in the 200 IM after setting his 200 IM time in the prelims, a mark that held up for third on the RMAC season-long performance list and the No. 4 spot in program history… Won the 200 Breast in the Air Force/BYU Meet.
2023-24 (Freshman): Competed in nine meets, including the RMAC and NCAA Division II National Championships… Earned a Second Team CSCAA All-America honor in the 200 Breast after finishing tenth with a school-record smashing and then personal-best time of 1:57.02… Also placed 26
th in the 100 Breast and 36
th in the 200 IM (1:49.88)… Posted a season-best 100 Breast time of 55.16 at the national meet… Qualified for the NCAA Championships thinks to a 200 Breast time trial effort of 1:58.45 (1:57.25-converted) at the RMAC Championships… Also scored in all four of his individual events at the conference meet while representing the Mavs on a pair of “B” heat winning relays… Earned a Second Team All-RMAC honor with a fourth place finish in the 200 Breast… Also reached the championship final in the 100 Breast, placing seventh in 55.52 seconds… Finished 11
th in the 200 IM and 12
th in the 200 Free... Set a converted season-best of 1:49.03 in the 200 IM... Had a season-best and NCAA “B” cut time of 1:39.75 (converted) in the 200 Free prelims… Was ranked amongst the RMAC’s top 10 on the season-long performers list in three different events, sitting third (200 Breast), sixth (100 Breast) and tenth (200 IM)… Was a 3-event finalist at the TYR/CMU Invitational… Was a finalist in both the 100 and 200 Breast at the UNLV Invitational.
Prep: 2023 graduate of El Paso High School… Finished second in the 100 free and third in the 100 breast at the 2023 UIL 5A State Championships... Had won Region 1-5A titles in both events two weeks earlier.
Club: Recorded top-10 finishes in the 100 breast (9
th) and 200 IM (10
th) at the Speedo Sectionals-Austin while representing the Southwest Aquatic Team.
Personal: Is majoring in business… Hopes to work for a non-profit and help his community.
