2017-18 (Junior): Competed in seven meets, including the RMAC Championships... Scored in all four of his individual events, placing eighth in the 200 free (1:40.01), 10th in the 200 fly (1:52.71), 13th in the 1650 free (16:45.15) and 15th in the 1000 free (9:44.03)... Earned First Team All-RMAC honors in the 800 free relay after swimming the second leg on CMU's runner-up team (6:38.24)... Had season-best times of 1:39.69 (200 free), 4:35.40 (500 free), 9:42.99 (1000 free), and 16:26.56 (1650 free) and 1:52.69 (200 fly), all set at the A3 Performance Invite... RMAC All-Academic Honor Roll selection.

2016-17 (Sophomore): Earned Second Team All-RMAC honors in the 1,650 free (15:53.81) after finishing fourth at the RMAC Championships... Also placed seventh in the 1000 free (9:28.89), eighth in the 500 free (4:43.74) and 11th in the 200 fly (1:57.45)... Set altitude-adjusted personal bests in each event, swimming 4:36.08 in the 500 free prelims... CSCAA Honorable Mention Scholar All-American... RMAC All-Academic Honor Roll selection.

2015-16 (Freshman): Competed as an exhibition swimmer at the RMAC Championships... CSCAA Honorable Mention Scholar All-America performer.

Prep: Competed for Cinco Ranch High School and Coach Christie Patterson... Served as the team captian for the state runner-up squad... USA Swimming Southern Sectional Qualifier... All-State Team…Eagle Scout.

Personal: Majoring in exercise science with plans of going on to chiropractic school...Son of Mark and Judy Ellis... Enjoys hiking and coaching and teaching swimming and other types of exercise.
