2023-24 (As a Freshman): Swam in 11 meets, including the NCAA Division II and RMAC Championships, where he shined… Voted as the RMAC Freshman of the Year after claiming four CSCAA All-America honors, including two first place plaudits, and four conference championships… Also set school records in five different events… Set a 100 Freestyle school-record time of 43.41 seconds as the relay leadoff on the Mavs’ 400 Free Relay team that placed fourth at the NCAA Championships… That squad set a school record time of 2:53.21… His 100 Free Time was the fastest in the RMAC throughout the entire season… Had posted a record of 43.53 to finish tenth in the 100 Free earlier on the night… Had also set a personal-best 50 Free time of 20.06 to lead-off the Mavs’ tenth place 200 Free Relay team… Now ranks third in CMU history for the 50 Free… Anchored the Mavs to a fifth place finish in the 800 Free Relay on the opening night of the national meet (Mar. 12)... That squad set a school record time of 6:25.42… Narrowly missed out on another all-America honor in the 200 Free, placing 17th in 1:36.90 before losing a swim-off for a spot in the consolation final despite posting a personal-best time of 1:36.78 in the tie-breaker… Ranks fifth in CMU history for the 200 Free… Finished 28th in the 50 Free (20.13) at the NCAA Championships... Won the 50 (20.18) and 100 (44.20) Free titles at the RMAC Championships… Anchored the Mavs to a 200 Free Relay win in 1:20.18 before closing the meet as the lead-off on the Mavs’ pool and RMAC Championship record setting 400 Free Relay team that finished in 2:55.30… Earned a fifth overall All-RMAC certificate and medal with a bronze medal performance in the 200 Free… Finished in 1:37.99 (1:36.79-converted)… Contributed 56 team points in his three individual events and another 29 when accounting for his share of the relay points in four relays… Swam on the Mavs’ “B” heat winning 400 Medley and 800 Free Relay teams at the RMAC meet… Had top-5 finishes in all three of his individual events at the TYR/CMU Invitational… Also helped the Mavs set school-record times of 1:19.23 and 1:26.19 in the 200 Free and 200 Medley relays at that meet… Ended up third on the RMAC’s season-long performers list in the 50 Free and fourth in the 200 Free… Named as a First Team CSCAA Scholar All-American.

Prep: Graduate of Champlain Valley Union High School.

Club: Competed for the Edge Swim Club… Finished fourth in the 50 free at the USA Swimming Futures Championship in San Antonion, Texas in July of 2023 after placing seventh at the New England Senior Championships… Also placed third in both 50 free and 100 free at the Speedo Sectionals-Ithaca in March, 2023… Won the 50 free at the New England 15-18 Age Group Championships… Also finished second in the 100 free, fifth in the 200 free and eighth in the 100 fly.

Personal: Has not declared a major… Plans to find a success in a profession that he enjoys… Chose CMU because of the commitment the program has to success both athletically and academically.
