Biography
2021-22 (Freshman): Competed in the A3 Performance Invitational… Posted personal-best altitude-adjusted times of 46.79 (100 Free)and 1:56.64 (200 IM), scoring team points in both with 11
th and 16
th place finishes, respectively… Also finished 18
th in the 100 fly (52.09-adjusted) and 24
th in the 50 free… Had a time of 21.99 in a 50 free time trial and swam legs on non-scoring 200 and 400 free relay teams.
Prep: 2021 graduate of Rocky Mountain High School… Placed fourth at the 5A State Championships in the 50 free…Also helped the Eric Work coached squad to a fourth place finish in the 200 free relay and a sixth place finish in the 200 medley relay… Helped the Lobos set All-American times in those events… Had a 50 free personal best of 20.88 at the Front Range League Championship… Has other personal-bests of 48.06 (100 free), 51.97 (100 fly) and 1:57.87 (200 fly)… Had also qualified for state as a freshman (2018) and sophomore (2019)… His 2020 junior season was wiped out by the COVID-19 pandemic.
Personal: Is majoring in graphic design… Is unsure of his career plans but knows it will be “artsy”… Enjoys hammocking.
Why I Chose CMU: “I chose CMU because I’ve heard such positive things about the athletic and academic side of the school, and I really love their pool.”
