2024-25 (As a Junior): Swam in all five of CMU’s home meets, including the RMAC Championships… Turned in personal-best altitude-adjusted times of 1:43.62 (200 Free) and 50.27 (100 Back) as an exhibition swimmer at the RMAC Championships… Also had season-best times of 20.86 in the 50 Free and 45.67 (converted) in the 100 Free at the conference meet… Reached the finals in the 100 Back at the TYR CMU Invitational.

2023-24 (As a Sophomore): Competed in three meets… Set numerous-season bests during the TYR/CMU Invitational, including a NCAA provisional qualifying and personal-best 100 Free mark of 45.25 (altitude-adjusted) to win the consolation final… Also had a season-best of 51.72 (converted) in the 100 Back… Turned in other season-bests of 21.00 (50 Free), and 51.13 (100 Fly).

2022-23 (Freshman): Competed in seven meets, including the RMAC Championships… Turned in multiple then personall-best times as an exhibition swimmer at the conference meet… Posted times of 20.74 (50 Free), 46.48 (100 Free), 50.90 (100 Back) and 50.18 (100 Fly).

Prep: 2022 graduate of Ralston Valley High School… Coached by Lani Meyer… Was the Mustangs’ team captain in both 2021 and 2022… Was also a state qualifier in both of those years, finishing 13^th at the 5A State Championships in the 50 free and 15^th in the 100 back with a personal-best time of 52.88 (altitude-adjusted).
 
Club: Competed for Elevation Athletics, setting several career long-course bests at the Mount Hood Speedo Sectionals.
 
Personal: Is majoring in sports management... Wants to become a personal trainer and has a ultimate goal to own his own gym… Son of Matt & Erin Sampson… Older brother Ben is a standout on the Maverick squad… Has a younger sister named Abby… Likes to surf, snowboard and play the drums.
