Biography
Prep: 2025 graduate of Frontier Academy… Swam for Greeley West High School… Coached by Colin Shaha… Reached the state championship finals in all four years of his prep career… Set school records in two individual events and two relays… Earned multiple all-state and all-conference honors… Placed seventh in both the 100 and 200 Free at the state meet as a senior in 2025 after taking sixth in the 200 Free and seventh in the 100 Fly in 2024.
Personal: Has not declared a major… Looks forward to taking a variety of classes to help him decide what to major in… Son of Frederick and Kimberly Spooner… Has two older brothers— Owen and Max… Enjoys playing guitar, playing pinball and gaming… Also enjoys traveling.
Why I Chose CMU: “I chose CMU because of the swim program. I am looking forward to being part of the swim team because the coaches and athletes are all very welcoming and like a family. I also chose CMU because they have a great college and campus in a really beautiful town.”
