• 4x Second Team CSCAA All-America

2017-18 (Junior): Competed in nine meets, including the RMAC and NCAA Division II National Championships... Swam the backstroke legs on CMU's 200 medley (15th, 1:29.61) and 400 medley (13th, 3:15.95) relay teams at the national meet... Earned his third and fourth career Second Team CSCAA All-America honors in the process... Placed second in the 200 back at the conference meet (1:49.18) to earn First Team All-RMAC honors with that season-best time... Was also a first team honoree in the 200 medley relay (2nd, 1:28.61) and a second team selection in the 400 medley relay (3rd, 3:17.07).. Finished fifth in the 100 back (49.33) and 15th in the 50 free (21.04)... Won the 100 back in a Jan. 4-5 dual against Mines.. Had a season-best time of 49.05 in that event during a RMAC Championship time trial.

2016-17 (Sophomore): At the NCAA Championships, finished 13th in the 400 medley relay (3:17.73), 14th in the 200 medley relay (1:29.38), 18th in the 200 free relay (1:22.29), 27th in the 200 back (1:51.82) and 21st in the 100 back (50.05)... Earned a pair of CSCAA Second Team All-America honors for the medley relay efforts... First Team All-RMAC in the 200 back, 200 free relay, 200 medley relay and 400 medley relay... Second-team All-RMAC in the 100 back... Helped the Mavs set the school record in the 200 free relay (1:20.69) and the 400 medley relay (3:15.99). 

At Florida Tech (2015-16): Competed at Florida Tech... Set the Panthers' team record in the 100 back (49.75)... Helped the Panthers' 200 and 400 medley relay teams to fourth place finishes at the Sunshine State Conference Championships.

High School: Attended Chatfield Senior High School in Littleton, Colo....3-year all-conference and state qualifier for the Chargers and Coach Ron Johns...Was the team captain as a senior... Holds the school record in the 200 freestyle relay and 200 medley relay...Finished fourth in the 50 free and fifth in the 100 back at the state meet as a senior...Also competed in cross country.

Club: Competed for Foothills Swim Team in Lakewood, Colorado for two years.

Personal: Son of Craig and Courtnay Berg...Has one brother, Ryan.
