At Weber High School: Placed second in the 100 back and third in the 200 free at the state championships…All-state selection…Two-Time Region 1 champion in the 100 back.

Personal: Majoring in history…Son of Phil Mendelson and Karen Nickel…Brother of Amanda and Maggie…Chose CMU for the facilities and the athletic programs.
