2022-23 (Freshman): Dove in ten meets, including the RMAC Championships and NCAA Pre-Championship qualifier… Recorded 11-dive season-bests of 460.45 (3m) and 436.95 (1m) as an exhibition athlete at the conference championships… Went on to record his NCAA standard 6-dive score of 311.45 points, a season-best, on the 3-meter at the Maverick Last Chance Qualifier… That allowed him to go to the NCAA Pre-Championship qualifier in Indianapolis, where he narrowly missed out on an official NCAA Championship spot… Finished 15
th on the 1-meter (237.80) and 21
st on the 3-meter (198.90) during the pre-championship qualifier… Had a season-best 6-dive score of 246.05 on the 1-meter board during the Jan. 7 dual at Utah.
Prep: 2022 graduate of Lafayette High School… Finished third in the 1-meter diving event as a senior at the 2021 Missouri Class 2 State Championships with a score of 421.40 points… Had placed eighth in 2019.
Club: Dove for the Clayton Diving Alliance… Finished 28
th on the 3-meter and 31
st on the 1-meter at the 16=18 Boys Junior Olympics USA Diving Junior Region 8 Championships in 2022.
Personal: Is majoring in business and wants to become a successful business owner… Son of Julie and Rod Gordon… Has one sibling— Blake.
