2023-24 (Junior):
Earned three more CSCAA All-America honors to raise his career total to 11… Earned two first team honors, helping the Mavs finish fifth in the 800 Free Relay at the NCAA Championships in Geneva, Ohio with a school-record time of 6:25.42 before going on to place seventh in the 200 Fly… Also earned a second team honor as the butterflyer on the Mavs’ tenth place 200 Medley Relay team… Finished 35th in the 100 Fly and 37th in the 200 Free in his other two individual events… Had a stellar RMAC Championships, winning five conference titles to raise his career total to 11… Swept the 100 and 200 Fly individual titles for the third straight year, posting season-best and NCAA Championship altitude-adjusted qualifying times of 48.00 and 1:45.75 to do so… Also swam the third leg on the Mavs’ winning 200 Medley, 400 Medley and 800 Free Relay teams… Helped the Mavs set RMAC Championship record times of 3:11.92 and 6:30.29 in the 400 Medley and 800 Free, respectively… Also finished ninth in the 200 Free and 17th in the 1000 Free at the RMAC Championships… Set a season-best and NCAA qualifying time of 1:37.67 (converted) in the 200 Free… Scored 49 team points in his individual events and contributed 79 total when counting his share of the relay wins… Helped the Mavs set a 200 Medley Relay school and El Pomar Natatorium record time of 1:26.19 at the TYR/CMU Invitational… Also helped the Mavs set a 400 Medley Relay pool record time of 3:11.23 at that meet… Competed in nine total meets… Won the 100 Fly in the Oct. 21 dual at the Colorado School of Mines… Took the 200 Fly win in the Nov. 3 dual at Wyoming… Also claimed a slew of academic awards for his prowess in the classroom… Was voted on the College Sports Communicators Academic All-America Second Team after picking up CSC Academic All-District honors… Was also voted on to the RMAC All-Academic Team… Earned CSCAA First Team Scholar All-America accolades as well.

Summer 2023: Represented Serbia at the LEN European U23 Championships in Dublin, Ireland finishing 19th in the 200-meter fly, 35th in the 50 fly and 43rd in the 100 fly… Had won the Juniorsko Prvenstvo Srbije (Serbian Junior Championships) in the 200 fly… Also finished fifth in the 100 fly and eighth in the 400 free.

2022-23 (As a Sophomore): Competed in ten meets, including the RMAC and NCAA Division II Championships… Earned three first team and four total CSCAA All-America honors at the national championship… Finished third in the 200 fly while helping three Maverick relay teams to top 10 finishes… Swam the third leg on the 800 free relay that placed fifth with a former school-record time of 6:25.73, the 200 medley relay that placed eighth and the 400 medley relay that placed ninth… Also finished 25th in the 100 fly and 35th in the 200 free while skipping the 500 free at the national meet… Had won two RMAC titles and four First Team All-RMAC honors at the conference meet… Swept the butterfly events while helping the Mavs to second place finishes in both the 400 medley and 800 free relays… Also won the consolation final to place ninth in the 200 free and finished tenth in the 1000 free… Accounted for 56 team points in his four individual events and another 17 when accounting for his share of the relay points… Had the best times of the season at the TYR CMU Invitational, where he won all three of his individual events while setting four NCAA qualifying altitude-adjusted times, including a school-record… Won the 100 fly (47.58), 200 fly (1:45.04) and 500 free (4:23.46)… Broke Pedro Terres Illescas’ 100 fly school-record while moving into the No. 2 spot behind him in the 200 fly… Also broke the meet record in both events and set a former pool record of 1:46.24 (actual) in the 200 fly… Set a 50 fly school-record split of 22.18. during the meet as well... Also ranks second in the 500 free and eighth in the 200 free in CMU history after turning in a time of 1:37.06 as a relay lead-off in the 800 free relay… Helped the Mavs set the former school, meet and pool record of 1:26.73 in the 200 medley relay at the TYR meet… Won both the 100 and 200 fly at the Wyoming dual while placing second in the 1000 free against the Cowboys and second in the 200 IM at the Intermountain Shootout… Was named as the RMAC Swimmer of the Week on Oct. 26 for his efforts against Wyoming… Was a First Team CSCAA Scholar All-American… Also named to the RMAC All-Academic Honor Roll.

2021-22 (As a Freshman): Competed in nine meets, including the RMAC and NCAA Division II Championships… Earned four total CSCAA All-America honors, including two first team plaudits at the national meet… Helped the Mavs to a third place finish and former school-record time of 6:29.29 in the 800 free relay… Was also the butterfly leg on CMU’s 200 and 400 medley relay teams, that finished sixth and ninth with school-record setting times of 1:27.00 (former) and 3:12.21 (current)… Took ninth individually in the 200 fly with a season-best time of 1:45.39… Also placed 27th in the 100 fly and 31st in the 1000 free at the national meet… Took a declared false start in the 500 free… Won four RMAC titles and five total all-conference honors… Swept the butterfly events winning the 100 fly in an altitude-adjusted mark of 47.99… Was also on CMU’s winning 200 and 400 medley relay teams… Earned Second Team All-RMAC honors with a fourth place finish in the 1000 free, recording an altitude-adjusted time of 9:21.01 to sit seventh in program history… Placed seventh in the 500 free… Had shined during the A3 Performance Invitational, winning five events while setting three meet records, including in the 500 free with a time of 4:28.65 to rank second in CMU history with the altitude-adjusted equivalent of 4:23.65… Had won four dual events in the early part of the season, taking the 50 fly at the Intermountain Shootout and the 200 fly, 300 fly and 500 free at the CMU Duals… Was named as a CSCAA Scholar All-American.

Prep: Won junior national titles in the 50 fly, 100 fly and 200 fly at the Serbian Winter Championships in December, 2019… Posted SCM times of 24.60, 54.86 and 2:20.57 to place fourth, fifth and second, respectively… Also made the finals in the 50 back (26.95) and 50 free (23.43)... His top LCM times are 24.07 (50 free), 53.33 (100 free), 1:55.02 (200 free), 25.07 (50 fly), 54.91 (100 fly), 2:02.03 (200 fly) and 28.12 (50 back)… Was the 2020 valedictorian and best athlete of the class at Medical High School.
 
Personal: Is majoring in computer science with a minor in cybersecurity… Aspires to become a software engineer... Son of Renata and Vladimir… Enjoys watching tv shows, riding his bicycle and hanging out with friends.
