2024-25 (As a Sophomore): Dove in all 13 meets, including the RMAC and NCAA Division II Championships… Earned CSCAA Second Team All-America honors on both boards, placing 14
th in the 3-meter competition and 16
th on the 1-meter… Recorded a score of 462.95 in the 3-meter consolation final… Scored 398.05 in the 1-meter consolation final after qualifying with a score of 414.95 in the prelims… Set a season-best of 535.65 on the 1-meter as an exhibition diver at the RMAC Championships to book his trip to Indianapolis… Also had a 3-meter score of 527.25 at the RMAC meet… Had a season-best 6-dive score of 379.85 on the 3-meter at the CMU Last Chance Meet… Was able to get through the NCAA Pre-Championship Qualification meet for the second straight year, placing 12
th on the 3-meter (259.80) and 18
th on the 1-meter (249.85)… The 1-meter score was the best 6-dive effort of his campaign although he did record a sub-set score of 334.80 during the RMAC Championships… Won the 3-meter at Northern Arizona’s Lumberjack Invitational with a score of 289.95… Also eclipsed the NCAA qualifying standards in the 3-meter event in the dual against Wyoming on Oct. 24 recording a 499.88 11-dive total while posting 324.15 points in his six optional dives.
2023-24 (As a Freshman): Qualified for the NCAA Championships, placing 17
th on the 1-meter (392.25) and 18
th on the 3-meter (409.20)… Placed sixth on the 3-meter during the pre-championship qualification meet, scoring 267.85 points over six dives… Had season-best 11-dive scores of 498.00 (1m) and 505.35 (3m) at the TYR/CMU Invitational… Had a season-best 3-meter, 6-dive score of 280.35 points at Utah… Turned in a season-best 1-meter (6 dives) score of 246.15 at BYU… Competed as an exhibition athlete at the RMAC Championships, posting scores of 475.95 (1m) and 457.35 (3m) on 11 dives.
Prep: 2023 graduate of Blacksburg High School… Was the Bruins’ team captain as a senior, when he took second at the Viriginia Class 4 State Championship with an 11-dive score of 377.35 points on the 1-meter board… Won state titles with a score of 423.25 as a junior in 2022… Also placed second in both 2020 and 2021… Won the 4D regional title in both 2022 and 2023, setting a career-best score of 455.05 at the 2023 event… Coached by Ryan Hawkins and Noah Zawadzki.
Personal: Is majoring computer science… Wants to become a cybersecurity specialist… Son of Eric and Tammy Roethlisberger… Has two siblings— Ben and Sophie… Enjoys art, music and skateboarding… Chose CMU for the sports and academic programs.
