2024-25 (As a Freshman): Swam in six home meets… Set personal-best altitude-adjusted times of 1:41.03 (200 Free), 9:29.78 (1000 Free) and 16:06.85 (1650 Free) as an exhibition swimmer at the RMAC Championships… Went on to set another PB of 1:52.32 in the 200 Fly at the CMU Last Chance Meet… Had another personal-best of 4:33.83 in the 500 Free at the TYR CMU Invitational.

Prep: 2024 graduate of Robert Service High School… Was a 2-year Team MVP and 2-year Team Captain for the Cougars, who won the 2020, 2022 and 2023 Alaska State Championships… Was a 200 Medley Relay All-American… Won the state title in the 500 Free while taking second in the 200 Free as a senior in November, 2023… Had also won the 500 Free title while finishing third in the 200 Free as a sophomore in 2021… Coached by Ben Kitchen and Grant Gamblin.

Club: Set numerous Alaska Age group records while competing for the Northern Lights Swim Club… Won the 200 Free, 500 Free, 1000 Free, 1650 Free and 400 IM at the 2024 Alaska State Championships.

Personal: Is majoring in business finance… Would like to pursue a career in that field and maybe one day become an entrepreneur like his father… Son of Jenny Fawcett… Has a younger sibling— Nora… Enjoys reading, being outside and adventurous.

Why I Chose CMU: “I chose CMU because of my belief in the swim program’s ability to push me to a high competitive level, while also developing my character. I also really liked the outdoor vibrancy of Grand Junction.”
