2023-24 (As a Freshman): Swam in the opening two meets of the season… Posted altitude-adjusted times of 22.05 (50 Free), 1:49.97 (200 Free), 4:47.49 (500 Free), 10:04.41 (1000 Free), 55.32 (100 Fly) and 1:57.73 (200 Fly) during the Intermountain Shootout… Swam a leg on a 3x500 Free Relay team at the Denver Relays a week later.
Prep: 2023 graduate of Charlotte Engineering Early College… Swam for the Myers Park High School Mustangs… Coached by Mimi Goudes… Earned all-America honors.
Club: Was a finalist in both the 200 fly (8
th) and 100 fly (6
th) at the 2023 North Carolina Senior Championships while representing the Mecklenburg Swim Association.
Personal: Is majoring in mechanical engineering… Son of William and Mary Berkeley… Has three siblings— Rebecca, Smith and Addison…Enjoys whitewater kayaking, rock climbing, hiking, camping, backpacking, fishing and off-roading.
Why I Chose CMU: “I chose CMU because the team structure and community are similar to my team back home. I love the engineering program and also love that most people here love the outdoors."
