2023-24 (Graduate @ CMU): Had a strong and record-setting season to cap his collegiate career at CMU earning four First Team CSCAA All-America honors, three Rocky Mountain Athletic Conference titles and seven all-conference certificates… Competed in three individual events and three relays at the NCAA Division II National Championships… Took fourth in the 200 Free after setting a school-record and NCAA Championship Automatic qualifying time of 1:34.98 (altitude-adjusted) to take second at the RMAC Championships… Also qualified for the NCAA meet in the 100 and 500 Free, placing 21st and 40th, respectively… Helped the Mavs set school-record times in all three of his relay events at the national meet as well… Anchored the 400 Free Relay team to a fourth place time of 2:53.21 and the 400 Medley squad to a seventh place mark of 3:10.31… Also swam the second leg on the CMU’s fifth place 800 Free Relay team, that was clocked in 6:25.42… Helped the Mavs set RMAC Championship records of 2:55.30, 3:11.92 and 6:30.29 in the 400 Free, 400 Medley and 800 Free Relays as well… The 400 Free Relay time was also an El Pomar Natatorium Record… Claimed three additional RMAC Championship silver medals and First Team All-RMAC honors after placing second in the 100, 200 and 500 Freestyle events... Was also a fourth place finisher and Second Team All-RMAC performer in the 50 Free… Accounted for 66 team points in his four individual events and 96 in total when including his share of the relay points… Was the third highest point scorer in the entire meet with his individual point total… Set season-best and NCAA qualifying times of 44.37 and 4:25.00 in the 100 and 500 Free, respectively, in the RMAC Championship finals… Turned in a personal-best of 20.60 in the 50 Free as well… Ranks third in CMU history for the 100 Free and fourth in the 500 Free… Placed third in both the 100 and 200 Free at the UNLV Invitational.. Was second in the 200 and third in the 100 at the TYR/CMU Invitational… Helped the Mavs set a pool record time of 3:11.23 in the 400 Medley Relay at that meet as well… Was ranked third on the RMAC’s season-long performers list in both the 100 and 200 Free… Also finished sixth in the 500 Free and ninth in the 50 Free.
2022-23 (Redshirt Junior) @ Florida State: Took fourth in the 200 free (1:40.71) and sixth in the 100 free (46.59) against Tampa… placed fifth in the 200 free (1:37.64) and finished third in the 500 free (4:30.32) against No. 3 UF…Finished sixth in the 200 free (1:42.45)and competed in the 100 free (46.26) in the win at LSU… placed third in 100 free (45.29) and helped Noles place third in 200 free relay against Florida Southern…placed fifth in 200 free (1:39.22) and placed eighth in 500 free (4:40.30) against Georgia…also helped Noles place second in 400 free relay against No. 7 Georgia…placed fifth in the 200 free (1:38.85) against Georgia Tech…competed in the 100 free (45.18) 500 free (4:27.35) and 200 free (1:39.09) at the Georgia Invite… finished 53rd in the men’s 5K at the CSCAA College Open Water Swimming Championships at 1:00:39.16
2021-22 (Redshirt Sophomore) @ Florida State: Led off the 800 free relay with a personal best of 1:34.52 and helped the Noles place sixth at the ACC Championships…competed in the 500 free (4:30.80) 200 free (1:39.52) and 100 free (44.69)…won the 200 free (1:35.60) and placed third in the 500 free (4:30.25) vs. Tampa…recorded a seventh-place finish in the 200 free (1:35.72) at the Georgia Tech Invitational…placed second in the 500 free (4:31.78) and sixth in the 200 free relay against Florida Southern…finished third in the 200 free (1:39.35) and 400 free relay and eighth in the 500 free (4:38.74) against Georgia Tech…placed second in the 200 free (1:37.78), sixth in the 400 free relay, and eighth in the 500 free (4:36.11) against Auburn.
2020-21 (Sophomore) @ Florida State: An NCAA qualifier in the 500 free…helped the Noles finish eighth at ACCs in the 800 free relay behind an NCAA provisional time…competed in the 100 free (45.24) 200 free (1:39.28) and 500 free (4:24.30) at the ACC Championships…placed sixth in the 200 free (1:41.75) Finished third in the 200 free (1:35.18) before placing third in the 500 free (4:38.19) vs. Tampa…and was second in the 500 free (4:16.59) at the Georgia Invite… was also 21st in the 100 free (45.62) and led off the 800 free relay that took third at 6:27.58…won the 200 free (1:37.33) and 500 free (4:27.14) against TCU…took second in the 200 free (1:39.38) and third in the 500 free (4:35.21) against RV Georgia Tech…All-ACC academic team member.
2019-20 (Freshman) @ Florida State: Was 23rd in the 500 free (4:27.88) 43rd in the 200 free (1:39.97) at the NCAA Championships…finished 23rd in the 200 free (1:39.19) and placed 18th in the 500 free (4:18.57) at the ACC Championships…helped the Noles win bronze, set the school record and earn an NCAA Automatic Time in the 800 free relay at 6:15.94…won the 500 free (4:31.17) and 1000 free (9:22.21) against FAU…won the 500 free (4:30.45) and was the runner up in the 200 free (1:37.49) vs. LSU…finished second in the 500 free (4:31.31) after winning the 200 free (1:38.23) against Alabama…finished first the 500 free with a time of 4:18.38 at the GT Invite, which was the fastest swim in the event for the Noles since Mateo DeAngulo’s 4:15.43 in 2011 and just one of four FSU swimmer to break 4:20 in the event…won bronze in the 200 free (1:34.79), placed 30th in the 100 free (45.08) and helped FSU win the 800 free relay Finished first in the 100o free (9:31.53) against Florida Southern…took second in both the 200 free (1:38.77) and 500 free (4:27.53) at No. 9 Florida… won the 200 free (1:38.95) and 500 free (4:29.93) against RV Minnesota…was the runner up in the 200 free (1:38.16) and 500 free (4:31.88) against Duke…scored fourth place points in the 500 free at 4:37.10 at No. 12 Notre Dame to start the season.
International: A member of the Tunisian National Team…swam at the FINA World Junior Swimming Championships in 2017 where he finished 14th in the 200m free at 1:50.41 and tied for 13th in the 400m free at 3:55.75…represented his country at the Youth Olympics in 2018 where he finished 19th in the 100m free (51.34), ninth in the 200m free (1:50.74) and 12th in the 400m free (3:54.02)…swam his best time in the 400m free at 3:48.15 at the 2017 French Championships.
