At the University of Florida: Team placed 5th at the NCAA National Championships…Had National ‘B’ cut time in the 1650 Free.

At Sarasota Christian High School: Four-Time All-American in the 200 and 500 Free…Won the 200 and 500 Free at the Florida State Championships...Named Swimmer of the Year.

Personal: Majoring in Exercise Science…Son of William and Allison Detra…Brother of John, Scott, and Holly…Chose CMU for the coaching staff and training environment…Aspires to become a physical therapist…Enjoys mountain biking, water sports, and playing video games.
