2021 (Fall): RMAC Tournament Champions...RMAC All-Academic Honor Roll...Played in 15 games and made seven starts...Finished the season with a goal and three assists...Lone goal of the season came on Senior Day against South Dakota Mines (Oct. 22).. Handed out two assists against Regis (Oct. 24)...Assisted on the team's second goal in the RMAC Tournament Semi vs. Regis (Nov. 7)

2021 (Spring): RMAC Co-Regular Season Champions...Played in eight games and made seven starts...Finished the abbreviated COVID season with two goals and two assists...Netted the decisive goal in a double-overtime thriller over Westminster on April 11...Scored second goal within the opening minute of play against Regis on April 17. 

2019: Played in 14 games and made 10 starts...Finished the season with a goal and five assists...Lone goal of the season was the game-winner in a 1-0 win over MSU Denver on the road on September 27...Recorded three assists against Northwest Nazarene on September 14.

Previous School (Western Nebraska Community College): Played in the South Division of Region 9 in the NJCAA…Two-time First Team South All-Region player in 2017 and 2018…First Team South All-Conference in 2017...Scored eight goals and recorded 10 assist his sophomore season at WNCC.

High School: Played for coach Pedro Borda in the Metropolitan Lima…Graduated from Saco Oliveros in 2011.

Personal: The son of Eva Cirilo Ocana and John Atahualpa La Rosa…Has one younger sibling named Alondra Atahualpa…Chose CMU because he believed it was the best place for him to grow as a student-athlete, the elite facilities and the soccer program…Aspires to get his bachelors and master’s degree in sports management and become a professional soccer player…When he is not playing soccer he enjoys hiking, traveling, and going to the beach.
