2021 (Fall): RMAC Tournament Champions...RMAC All-Academic Honor Roll...Played in all 22 games, starting 21...Tallied three goals and two assists throughout the season...Assisted on the game-winning goal against Montana State Billings (Sept. 9)...Scored against UCCS (Oct. 3), MSU Denver (Oct. 15) and in the RMAC Tournament Semifinal win over Regis (Oct. 24)...Logged the third most minutes on the team at 1,758.

2021 (Spring): RMAC Co-Regular Season Champions...RMAC All-Academic Honor Roll...Played and started all eight games of the abbreviated COVID spring season...Tallied an assist against South Dakota Mines (Mar. 28)...Took eight shots, placed four on goal.

2019: RMAC Academic Honor Roll...Played in 16 games and made five starts...Took 16 total shots on the season with four of those coming on goal...Took a season-high three shots in a 4-0 win over South Dakota Mines on October 25.

2018: Played in 15 games over the season as a midfield…Recorded a total of ten shots and two shots on goal.

High School: Played for Coach Drew Guarneri of Campo Verde High School…As a Coyote he was 5A State Runner-up (2017)…All-Region First Team (2017,2018)…All-District Second Team (2017)…5A State Champion (2018)… Varsity Captain (2018)…State of Arizona assist leader (2018)…State of Arizona Player of the Year Honorable Mention (2018).

Club: Played for Coach David Belfort of Arizona Arsenal ECNL…State Cup Champion (2016,2017)…Team Captain (2013-2018). 

Personal: The son of Doug and Staci Shafer…Has two siblings, Kayla (22) and Kamrin (19) Colton is majoring in Exercise Science and would like to become a physical therapist.
