Colorado Mesa University Athletics

Gwerder is originally from Washington. He then played 2 years at UH Hilo and finished his last two years at Colorado Mesa Univeristy during the 2011 - 2012 seasons. He graduated from CMU with degree in Exercise Science in 2013.

Gwerder currently coaches at the local club Fire FC  and the Men’s Mesa Club Team. Has also coached at Western slope premier and Colorado west select. 

He has earned a NSCAA Advanced National license.
