2024-25 (Redshirt Junior): Claimed Second Team All-RMAC honors after finishing second on the team with a 71.85 scoring average, the second best park in program history… Played in all 12 tournaments and 33 of the Mavs’ rounds, recording a pair of top-5 and four top-10 finishes… Had 16 par or better rounds, including a season-best 65 (-5) to wrap up the fall season at the HPU Shark Shootout… Finished in the 60’s in eight rounds… Had a season-best 36-hole total of 135 (-5) at that tournament, tying for fourth place in a field of 105… Also tied for fifth at the Hot Dirt Desert Shootout in the spring… Had a 54-hole best of 209 (-7) at the RJGA Palm Valley Classic, finishing in a tie for eighth in a field of 106... Finished in a 15th place tie at the RMAC Championships and tied for 84th at the NCAA South Central/West Super Regional… Had a .673 (623-291-44) winning percentage against Division II golfers according to Clippd… Was ranked 22nd in the South Central Region.

2023-24 (Redshirt Sophomore): Claimed Second Team All-RMAC honors after averaging 73.45 shots in 29 rounds… Played in all ten of CMU’s tournaments… Had three top-10 and five top-20 finishes… Tabbed as the RMAC Golfer of the Week on Mar. 28 after tying for tenth at the Midwestern State Invitational… Placed sixth (tie) at the Southern Colorado Masters before tying for eighth at the RMAC Championships… Posted a season-best round of 67 in the opening round of the NCAA Super Regional, one of a dozen par or better rounds… Had a 54-hole tournament score of 213 (-3) at the RMAC Championship, the best of his season… Also broke par (-2) at the Centennial Cup, tying for 16th with a 54-hole score of 214… Tied for 27th at the regional.
 
2022-23 (Sophomore): Redshirt Season.

2021-22 (Freshman): Had a strong debut season, playing in nine 11 tournaments, including all three of the championship events… Shot a school-record 9-under par round of 62 in the second round of the NCAA West/South Central Regional, helping the Mavericks qualify for the NCAA Division II Championships for the first time in program history… Set new Maverick marks for a low round in the tournament and a low round against par breaking the previous records of 6-under and 64, set by Trevor McKune during the 2016-17 season… Finished the regional with a 54-hole total of 213, his best of the season, tying for 27th place… Went on to place 81st at the national championship after taking 28th at the RMAC Championships… Recorded a top-10 finish as an individual, finishing sixth at the Warrior Invitational with a 36-hole total of 148, just three shots off his Farmers Insurance Samuel Proal Invitational total of 145… Finished the year with a 74.96 scoring average in 25 rounds… Finished at par or better in four rounds and had a 58.5 winning percentage, fourth best on the team.

Prep: Was a 4-time (2017-21) Citrus Belt League Individual Champion during his high school career with the Redlands East Valley Wildcats... Was the 2021 medalist at the CIF Team Championships, which the Wildcats won... Was the 2020 Ventura County Open Simi Hills Champion.

Personal: Is majoring in sports management... Son of Bruce and Linda Cavarno... Has three siblings (Andrew, Steven, Katrina)... Aspires to become a professional golfer... Also enjoys basketball, watersports, skiing and piano.
