2025-26 (Sophomore): Named to the First Team All-RMAC squad… Also earned PING All-South Central Region honors… Led the team with a 71.28 scoring average, the second best in program history, over 30.5 rounds… Played in all 11 of the Mavs’ tournaments… Recorded four top five finishes, including three second place finishes… Led the team with 18 par or better rounds, including eight in the 60’s… Had four rounds of 65… Finished in a tie for second to start the season at the Travis Roy Memorial Invitational with a 36-hole score of 141 (-3), aided by the first of the 65’s… Recorded a season-best 54 hole score of 204 (-9) to take second at the Ryan Palmer Foundation Invite… Claimed RMAC Golfer of the Week honors on Oct. 16 in the days following… Also had an-opening round of 65 to begin the RMAC Championships, where he tied for second to lead the Mavs to a conference title… Went on to lead the Mavs with a T-20 finish at the NCAA South Central/West Regional… Was also voted on to the First Team Academic All-RMAC squad… Was then selected to the College Sports Communicators Academic All-District team for Men’s At-Large Sports.

2024-25 (Freshman): Named as the RMAC Freshman of the Year… Averaged 74.89 strokes in ten tournaments and 27 competitive rounds… Had eight par or better rounds, including scores of 69, 68 and 68 en-route to a season-best 54-hole tournament score of 205 (-5) and top-10 (T-9) finish at the Ryan Palmer Foundation Invite… Helped the Mavs set a program record for team scoring in a tournament (821) and a single round (268) at that fall event in Amarillo, Texas… Had a season-best 36-hole score of 142 (-2) at the HPU Shark Shootout in Hawai’i… Also finished under par and in a tie for 13th place at the Bishop Invitational with a 3-round score of 215 (-1).

Prep: Graduate of Exnovo.

Personal: Is majoring in business… Aspires to become a professional golfer… Father is Leonardo Lavalle Moreno, who represented Mexico in the 1992 Summer Olympic tennis tournament in Barcelona, Spain… He also won the Wimbledon boys junior singles and doubles titles in 1985 and went on to become a senior runner-up for doubles at Wimbledon in 1991.
