Biography
2025-26 (As a Freshman): Played in two tournaments as an individual, recording a 77.20 scoring average in five rounds… Had a season-best round of 73 while finishing with a 54-hole total of 227 (+14) at the San Juan Intercollegiate, where he finished in a 46
th place tie… Had a 36-hole score of 159 (+15) at the Bob Writz Invitational, finishing 27
th.
Prep: 2025 graduate of Grand Junction High School… Played for the Tigers and Coach Tom LeFebre… Won the regional title before helping the Tigers to a second straight runner-up team finish at the 4A state championships as a senior in the fall of 2024.
Personal: Is majoring in business administration… Plans to get a degree in business and continue his golfing career… Son of Jean Martinez and Adam Korte… Has three siblings— Jaymin, Braxton and Ella… Likes to hunt, fish and wake surf.
Why I Chose CMU: “I chose CMU because of the golf team. I grew up watching the CMU guys play and always wanted to be like them.”
