Biography
2021-22: Redshirt season.
2020-21: Played in one tournament as an individual, posting a 54-hole score of 240 and a 39th place finish at the Mile High Shootout... Had a low round of 78.
2019-20: Played in two tournaments, including one as an individual… Recorded a 77.83 scoring average in his six rounds… Had a low round of 74 and low 54-hole best of 229 to finish in a tie for 44th at the Farmers Insurance Samuel Proal Invite as an individual helping him earn a spot in the Maverick 5-man team for the RJGA South Central Preview… Finished that tournament tied for 81st at 238 as he contributed towards the Mavs’ total in all three rounds.
2018-19: Redshirt season.
High School:Â Played for Rifle High School in Rifle, Colorado...Placed fourth at the 4A state championship in 2017 and was a first team all-state selection...Had a 72.5 stroke average senior year for the Bears... 3-year first team all-conference... Coached by his father Tod.
Personal:Â The son of Tod and Melina Smith...Has two siblings, Kyler and Masi...Majoring in accounting... Plans on getting a CPA license and opening an accounting practice... Enjoys basketball and hanging out with friends.
Why I Chose CMU: "For the location and all of the outdoor activities. The culture at CMU is also great."
