2024-25 (Senior): Earned a multitude of honors during a record-breaking season… Was the first Maverick in a dozen years (Brandon Bingaman, 2013) to earn Division II PING All-America honors, picking up second team accolades… Was also the Mavs’ first all-region selection since 2017 (Trevor McKune)… Had also been named to the All-RMAC First Team… Finished at par or better in 26 of his 33 rounds, while smashing the program-record with a 69.45 scoring average, far superior to the former record of 72.22, set by Bingaman in 2012-13… Posted scores in the 60s in 16 of those rounds… Won a program-record four tournaments while claiming seven top-5 and eight top-10 finishes in 12 events… Set the Maverick record for a 54-hole tournament score by five shots, posting a 13-under par 197 to win at the Ryan Palmer Foundation Invite, while also leading the Mavs to team scoring records… Set a season-best round of 63 in the third round of that tournament… Also won at the Bishop Invitational in the ball before winning at The Stack Cougar-Burro Collegiate and RJGA Palm Valley Classic in the spring… Named as the RMAC Golfer of the Week on both Oct. 10 and Apr. 10… Finished the year ranked fifth in the region and eighth nationally in the NCAA Division II Clippd rankings… Had a .837 (788-143-27) head-to-head winning percentage against fellow Division II golfers throughout the season… Finished 24
th at the RMAC Championships and in a tie for 38
th at the South Central/West Super Regional… Also shined academically as the first Maverick men’s golfer to ever earn First Team NCAA Division II Academic All-America® honors (Men’s At-Large Sports) as selected by College Sports Communicators… Was also selected to the CSC Academic All-District® Team and was voted on to the RMAC All-Academic First Team… Later received Cobalt Golf All-America Scholar recognition.
2023-24 (Junior): Earned Second Team All-RMAC honors for the second straight season… Averaged 72.76 strokes in 29 rounds after playing in all ten tournaments, the second best mark on the team and the seventh best in program history… Recorded three top-10 finishes… Played at par or better in 14 rounds… Posted four rounds in the 60’s, including a season-best 67 in the opening round of the RMAC Championships en-route to a sixth place (tie) finish… Had a 54-hole score of 212 (-4) at both that tournament and the Centennial Cup… Placed ninth (tie) at both the Ryan Palmer Foundation Invite and the Southern Colorado Masters… Was named to the RMAC All-Academic First Team for the second straight year... Also selected to the CSC Academic All-District team for Men's At-Large Sports... Was also picked as a GCAA All-America Scholar for the second straight year.
2022-23 (Sophomore): Was a Second Team All-RMAC selection… Earned RMAC All-Academic First Team honors… Also named as a GCAA All-America Scholar… Played in nine of the team’s ten tournaments, including one as an individual… Had a solid 74.04 stroke average over 26 rounds… Had two scores in the 60’s and broke 80 in all but one… His score was used for the team total 19 times… Had a season-low score of 67 in the first round of the Palm Valley Classic, where he shared medalist honors in a large field of 111 golfers while leading the Mavericks to team victory… Went on to finish that tournament with a career-low 54-hole score of 213… Was named as the RMAC Golfer of the Week… Also had a tenth (tie) place finish at the RJGA South Central Shootout, a 36-hole event, where he posted a score of 147… Tied for 32
nd at the RMAC Championships before tying for 24
th at the NCAA Super Regional.
2021-22 (As a Freshman): Played in four tournaments posting a 78.36 scoring average in 11 rounds… Was an individual player in three of the tournaments… Played for the team at the Lion Invitational, when he posted a 54-hole season-best of 231 en-route to a 41
st place (tie) finish… Also had a season-best single-round score of 74 in the first round of that tournament before matching it in the first round of the Southern Colorado Masters… His best finish was a T-40 at the Warrior Invitational after posting a 36-hole score of 155.
Prep: Was the 2021 4A Oregon State Champion at Woodburn High School.
Personal: Is majoring in environmental science... Son of Brian and Sarah Beyer... Younger brother is Ty... Enjoys golf, fishing and snowboarding... Aspires for a career as an environmental engineer or geologist and to spend work hours outside.
