2024-25 (Sophomore): Played in ten of the Mavs’ 11 tournaments and in 30 rounds… Posted a 74.03 scoring average… Turned in his best performance of the season at the RMAC Championships, recording a 54-hole score of 209 (-7) to tie for seventh… Went on to finish in a tie for 65
th at the NCAA Division II Super Regional Championships with an other solid effort of 217 (+1), where he posted two scores of 71 to cap the season in strong form… Had a season-best round of 67 in the third and final round of the RMAC Championships after signing for a 68 in the opening round… Had six rounds of par or better… Named to the RMAC All-Academic Honor Roll while helping lead the Mavs to a RMAC Brechler Award for having the highest team GPA in the conference… Was also tabbed as a Cobalt Golf All-America Scholar.
2023-24 (Freshman): Played in four tournaments recording a stroke average of 77.18 over 11 rounds… Was an individual in all four… Had a season-low round of 73 at the Hot Desert Classic, where he had a 36-hole total of 155… Had a season-best 54-hole tournament score of 226 at the Ryan Palmer Foundation Invitational.
Prep: Graduated from École Diagonale… Coached in his golf pursuits by Christope Pottier.
Personal: Is majoring in math… Son of Fabienne and Jean-Luc Laborde… Has an older sister named Emma… Aspires to play golf professionally and to reach his full potential… Outside of golf, loves sports such as football and rugby… Also likes to surf and play guitar.
Why I Chose CMU: “I chose CMU for Coach (Scott) Sullivan, I really like the atmosphere and the family spirit he created in the team. As an International player, it really made the decision to commit to CMU easy for me.”
