2018 (Freshman): Competed in five meets... Finished 89th at the RMAC Championships... Had a season-best 8K time of 27:01.4 at the Lewis Crossover... Finished 30th at the Joe I. Vigil Open with a season-best time of 26:40.3 over 4.97 miles.
Prep: State qualifying distance and cross country runner for the Cheyenne Mountain HS Indians… Finished 42nd at the 4A State Championships as a senior in 2017 after placing 71st as a junior… Placed 14th at the Nike Cross Regionals in 2017 with a 5K XC personal-best time of 16:16.7… Ran the 3,200 meters at both the 2017 and 2018 state track meet… Set a PR time of 9:45.06 in the event at the 2018 Pueblo Twilight… Set a PR of 4:39.95 in the 1,600 to win the Doherty Spartan Invitational a day later.
Personal: Is majoring in exercise science… Chose CMU because of the human performance lab and strong kinesiology department… Was also drawn to the cross country team and opportunity to run at a college level.
