As a Redshirt Senior (2024): Ran in all five of the Mavs’ meets… Was in the team’s top three at each of the three regular season meets…  Placed tenth as the team’s second man at the Mountaineer/Cowboy Open… Was 45th as the team’s third finisher at the Roadrunners Invitation… Led the team and placed 153rd at the Lewis Crossover, running to a season-best time of 25:40.9… Did not finish at the RMAC Championships… Took 152nd at the NCAA South Central Regional Championships… Named to the RMAC All-Academic Honor Roll.

As a Redshirt Junior (2023): Led the Mavs in both of his regular season meets, placing third at the Mountaineer Invite and 41st at the Lewis Crossover… Had a season-best time of 24:54.8 at the Lewis meet in Romeoville, Illinois before suffering an injury which kept him out of the RMAC Championship lineup… Returned to the team for the NCAA Division II South Central Regional Championships but was unable to finish that race... Named to the RMAC All-Academic Honor Roll.

As a Redshirt Sophomore (2022): Competed in all five of the Mavs’ full-team meets… Was amongst the team’s top three finishers at the first four… Recorded back-to-back top-10 finishes at the start of the season, placing eighth at the Mountaineer/Cowboy Invite before running an 8K PR time of 24:34.6 to place ninth at the Gig Leadbetter Maverick Stampede… Was the Mavs’ second runner in a 38th place effort at the NCAA D2 Pre-Nationals Meet… Finished 30th overall and third on the team at the RMAC Championships (25:55.8), narrowly missing a second consecutive All-RMAC honor… Finished 99th at the South Central Regionals with a time of 34:29.2 in his lone 10K effort of the season.... Selected to the RMAC All-Academic First Team for the second consecutive year.

As a Redshirt Freshman (2021): Competed in all six of CMU’s meets, earning Second Team All-Rocky Mountain Athletic Conference honors with a 20th place finish at the conference championship… Was also named to the RMAC All-Academic First Team and to the U.S. Track & Field and Cross Country Coaches Association All-Academic Athlete list… Let the Mavs at the conference meet… Was the team’s No. 3 finisher at the NCAA Division II South Central Regional Championship, where he placed 48th with a 6K career best of 31:48.5… Had recorded two top-10 finishes in the first half of the season… Placed a career-best seventh at the Gig Leadbetter Maverick Stampede a week after finishing tenth at the Mountaineer/Cowboy Invite… Was the team’s third finisher at the home meet after finishing as the second Maverick in Gunnison… Started the year by placing 23rd at the UCCS Rust Buster before turning in an 8K career best of 25:44.7 to place 94th at the Chile Pepper Festival closer to sea-level in Fayetteville, Arkansas.

As a Freshman (2020): Had a strong season as the team's top freshman... Was the Mavs' fourth overall finisher all four meets of the campaign, including at the RMAC Championships and D2 XC National Invite... Finished 33rd at the conference meet with an 8K PR of 26:03.6... Finished 32nd at the D2 XC National Invite in Lubbock, Texas... Posted a time of 33:24.7 over ten kilometers in his first attempt at that distance... Also finished a season-best 20th at the Mountaineer/Cowboy Invite before taking 28th at the Maverick Invitational.

Prep: Was the 2019 New Mexico 5A State Champion as a senior at Piedra Vista HS… Helped the Sampson Sage coached Panthers to a third place team finish… Won three meets and placed in the top three at six meets as a senior… Also set the Panther’s program record of 15:32.51 at the Nike Desert Twilight Festival… Finished 71st at the Nike Cross Nationals Southwest Regional… Won the District 2-5A title as a junior in 2018 before finishing fifth at state and fourth in the Nike Southwest Regional that year… Placed 51st at the USATF Cross Country Championships in February, 2019… Has PRs of 2:00.77 (800), 4:30.02 (1600) and 9:48.20 (3200) on the track… Finished sixth in both the 1,600 and 3,200 as the New Mexico State Championships as a junior in 2019... Most of his 2020 senior track campaign was canceled by the COVID-19 pandemic... Did sweep the 1600 and 3200 at the Farmington Early Bird before the cancelation... Had finished fifth in the mile at the Great Southwest Indoor Invitational in February, 2020... Also had an indoor PR of 2:03.62 a week earlier at the Duke City All-Comers.
 
Personal: Is majoring in criminal justice… Aspires to become a police officer or work in law enforcement, perhaps as a detective in the FBI… Son of Bernadine Beyale… Has one sibling (Tyson)… Enjoys outdoor activities such as hiking and fishing in addition to running… Also likes to watch TV and play video games.
 
Why I Chose CMU: “The campus atmosphere and how close it is to many outdoor activities. Plus the team has a solid coaching staff who put in the work to make it enjoyable while making sure we get a good workout.”
