As a Redshirt Junior (2024): Became the first Maverick to ever receive three First Team RMAC All-Academic honors… Ran in all five meets of the season… Led the team at the first two and was in the scoring five in all five… Placed a career-best ninth at the Mountaineer/Cowboy Open before taking 33
rd at the Roadrunners Invitational with a season-best 8K time of 25:54.0… Took 205
th as the team’s third finisher at the Lewis Crossover Invitational before taking 52
nd as the team’s second man at the RMAC Championships… Took 87
th at the NCAA South Central Regional Championships, finishing as the team’s fifth runner.
As a Redshirt Sophomore (2023): Ran in four meets, including both championships as the most consistent Maverick runner… Started the year with a tenth place finish as CMU’s second finisher at the Mountaineer Invite… Placed 96
th at the Lewis Crossover with a season-best 8K time of 25:22.82… Was the Mavs’ third runner on that day… Finished 82
nd at the RMAC Championships as the Mavs’ third man before wrapping up the season with a 85
th place finish at the NCAA Division II South Central Regional… Had a career-best 10K time of 32:48.1 at the regional, finishing as the Mavs’ second man... Was selected to the RMAC All-Academic First Team for the second consecutive year.
As a Redshirt Freshman (2022): Had a solid season, competing in each of the Mavs’ five full-team meets… Selected to the RMAC All-Academic First Team... Was amongst the scoring five in all five, finishing fourth on the team in four of them… Placed 33
rd at the RMAC Championships and 63
rd at the South Central Regional Championships, running to a time of 33:14.8 in his 10K distance debut… Opened the season with a 14
th place finish at the Mountaineer/Cowboy Invite before finishing 22
nd with a season-best 8K time of 25:16 at the Gig Leadbetter Maverick Stampede… Placed 78
th at the NCAA D2 Pre-Nationals.
As a Freshman (2021): Redshirt season... Competed unattached in three meets, leading CMU's freshman contingent in each... Placed 42nd with an 8K time of 27:58.2 at the UCCS Rust Buster before placing 35th with a quicker time of 28:06.36 at the Mountaineer/Cowboy Invite... Was 19th with an 8.8K time of 30:14.22 at CMU's home meet, the Gig Leadbetter Maverick Stampede.
Prep: 2021 graduate of Big Bear High School… Coached by Jonathan Stiles… Won both the 800 and 1,600-meter titles for the Bears at the Cross Valley League Finals in the spring of 2021… Posted PR’s of 2:01.49 and 4:27.10 earlier in that outdoor track season… Had three top-3 finishes in as many meets during a brief2021 spring cross country season… Placed second at the CVL Finals with a PR of 15:47… Had finished 115
th at the CIF Southern Section Finals as a junior cross country runner in the fall of 2019 after taking 91
st at the Preliminary meet.
Personal: Is majoring in mechanical engineering technology.
