As a Freshman (2025); Ran for the team in three meets, including both the RMAC and NCAA Championships… Was amongst the team’s top five in each… Was fourth on the team and 140^th overall at the Lewis Crossover, where he posted an 8K time of 25:46.9… Finished 75^th overall and fifth on the team at the RMAC Championships… Was also fifth on the team while placing 92^nd overall at the South Central Regional Championships, where he posted a 10K time of 33:23.7… Also ran unattached at the Gig Leadbetter Maverick Stampede, finishing 23^rd.

Prep: 2025 graduate of Big Bear High School… Was a 6-time All-CIF performer for the Bears and Coach Jonathan Stiles… Also earned an all-state honor… Finished ninth in the 1600 in the CIF Southern Section Finals as a senior… Set a PR time of 4:21.84 to take fifth as a sophomore in 2023… Won the Cross Valley League title in 2025… Placed eighth at the 2014 CIF Southern Section Finals… Won the Cross Valley League cross country title in each of the last three years…  Took 12^th at the CIF Southern Section Championships as a senior in 2024… Had also placed 17^th at the Mt. SAC Invitational… Finished eighth at the CIF Southern Section Championships in 2023… Also finished eighth in 2022 before going on to finish 29^th at the CIF State Championships… Graduated with high honors.

Personal: Is majoring in civil engineering… Aspires to become an officer in the United States Navy… Son of Kerri and Kendall Jex… Has an older sibling— Kyle… Loves pottery and music.
