Why I Chose CMU: “I absolutely loved Grand Junction, and how close it was to the mountains. Being there just made me want to run. The campus was amazing and everyone was incredibly nice. I really felt that Coach Travis valued each and every one of his athletes and wanted to see all of them excel in the sport. Seeing his individualized training plans for each of his runners made me realize how much time and effort he was willing to put in as a coach. The excellent coaching staff along with a supportive team made me feel like Mesa was a place where I would be able to properly develop as an athlete while simultaneously earning a valuable degree.”
