2023: Named to the RMAC All-Academic Honor Roll for the third time… Played in two games.

2022: RMAC All-Academic Honor Roll... Appeared in three games against Midwestern State (Aug. 25), Westminster (Sep. 16) and Adams State (Oct. 2)... Logged 41 total minutes, with a season high of 23 against Adams State.

2021 (Fall): Did not appear in a game.

2021 (Spring): RMAC All-Academic Honor Roll...Played in two games.

2019: Redshirt

High School: Played for coach Tori Hardy in the Centennial League…Three year varsity letter winner...Served as team captain his senior season…First Team All-League (2018)…Four-time Academic All-State…Led his team in assists his senior season and was voted MVP as a senior.

Personal: The son of Yolanda and Guillmermo Melendez…Has ones one sibling named Christian…Chose CMU because of the beautiful campus, the quality education, and the success of athletics…Aspires to work in the office of a professional sports team…When he is not playing soccer he enjoys listening to music, spending time with family, hanging out with friends, and being outside.
