2022: RMAC Honorable Mention All-Academic... Made 11 appearances including four starts... 2-0 on the season... Winning pitcher while throwing 3.1 one-hit innings against Adams State on April 6 and throwing a 1-2-3 inning against CSU Pueblo on May 7... Longest outing was 5.0 innings against Montana State Billings on February 9.

2021: RMAC Honorable Mention All-Academic... Made three appearances.

2019: Made four appearances, allowing 11 runs in 10 innings.

Prep: Played for the Cougars of Cherokee Trail High School and coach Steve Eaton...All-Centennial League selection...Three-time Academic All-State...Pitched 39.2 innings and struck out 37 batters with a 3.18 ERA as a senior... Played summer ball for Slammers and was coached by Billy Martin.

PERSONAL: Majoring in Exercise Science...Son of Buck and Kristi Hayen...Has one sibling, Sam, who plays baseball for Otero Junior College...Aspires to become a physical therapist...Chose CMU for the access to the outdoors...Enjoys fishing, golfing and hiking.
