Logged first career GCU hit on opening day on Feb. 19 • would later take the mound in the game and emerge as the winning pitcher.

Summer League
2015 - Mat-Su Miners (Alaska Baseball League)
Named the Alaska Baseball League MVP and was First Team All-League as both an outfielder and relief pitcher • rated as the No. 2 prospect in the Alaska League by Baseball America • allowed only two earned runs in 21 innings while striking out 11 batters with an impressive fastball • key member of a club that went 34-11 and claimed the National League title.

Junior College
Paradise Valley Community College - Phoenix, Ariz.
Finished his two-year stint at PVCC as the school's career leader in hits (129), triples (9) and runs scored (75) • posted top-10 school record marks in many other categories including home runs, batting average, on-base percentage, stolen bases and pitching strikeouts.
Sophomore: Finished third on the team with a .351 batting average • led the team with 65 hits and 39 runs scored • legged out six triples, a mark which was top 20 in the nation • six saves on the mound, a top-15 mark in the nation • went 4-0 with a 3.22 ERA in 50.1 innings of work • accolades included All-Region First Team, All-ACCAC First Team and Rawlings Gold Glove Nominee.
Freshman: Batted .328 (64-for-195) for the Pumas • won a National Junior College Athletics Association Gold Glove and was the Division Pitcher & Player of the Year • logged nine games of three or more hits on the season • did not record an error in 90 fielding chances • used largely in a short-relief role on the mound, finishing with a 4.14 ERA in 45.2 innings.

Born on August 14, 1994 in Phoenix, Ariz. • majoring in Education • father, Larry, played at Eastern Arizona College and University of Texas El Paso before being drafted by the Seattle Mariners in the fourth round of the 1982 draft • grandfather, Hank, played six seasons of professional baseball in the Chicago Cubs organization from 1949-1956 • cousin, Ryan Bethel, played two seasons in the Tampa Bay Rays organization after being drafted in the 32nd round of the 2005 draft • hobbies outside of baseball include hunting and fishing • favorite sports memory growing up was watching the Arizona Diamondbacks win the 2001 World Series • favorite athlete to watch right now is Mike Trout.
