The Colorado Mesa Track & Field Complex opened on June 27, 2020 with a twilight/night race named the
Team Boss Colorado Mile highlighted by Olympic Bronze Medalist Emma Coburn who broke the Colorado state mile record in the event.
The complex features an eight lane track, four jump pits, two throwing cages, two pole vault runways, two shot put rings, steeplechase pit, and a high jump area for competition. The complex also features a structure that houses coaches offices, the women's locker room, men's locker room, press box, and comes equipped with two filming areas on each end of the press box.
The complex is set to host the 2024 Rocky Mountain Athletic Conference Outdoor Championships in late April.
