Facility Rental Information

The Department of Athletics has established priorities and policies for the use of facilities managed by the department. The policies and guidelines are to ensure the facilities fulfill the mission of the university and the department and comply with all university standards and applicable laws and regulations.
 
The Department of Athletics manages the following university facilities:

Groups hosting events must use CMU Athletic Concessions.
Rental includes use of lights.
Video board usage in Brownson Arena is an additional fee.
'Event Rental' of Brownson Arena includes Auxiliary Gym.

“Practice Rates” consist of holding a team practice.  No services will be provided.
 
“Event Rates” consist of hosting an activity in which you anticipate spectators and need such services as use of scoreboards, bleachers, and other support staff.

Facilities use Priorities for Ongoing and Regular Activities:
    1.  Academic Classes
    2. Intercollegiate Varsity Contest
    3. High School Varsity Contest
    4. Intercollegiate Varsity Practice
    5. CMU Club Events
    6. Intercollegiate out-of-season Practices
    7. Outside Entities
 
Reserving Athletic Facilities:
Requests for reservations can be made to by emailing or calling Jermaine Williams at 970.248.1879 / jerwilli@coloradomesa.edu. The department’s facilities coordinator will respond to the request within ten business days. 

To reserve the El Pomar Natatorium, Recreation Center Gym, Maverick Pavilion, or Classroom Space, contact the Department of Campus Recreation at 970.248.1058.
