El Pomar Natatorium opened in January of 2010 along side of the Hamilton Recreation Center. The natatorium has the latest in swimming technology built into the facility and is one of the best facilities west of the Mississippi River. El Pomar has two-3 meter diving platforms and two-1 meter diving platforms.
The pool is designed with 10 lanes to be ran in a number of configurations (wall to wall, wall to bulkhead, bulkhead to bulkhead.) The 860,000 gallon pool is equipped with the latest Colorado Timing System equipment. As apart of that timing system, the natatorium has a 21' by 10' full color video board and sound system.
The El Pomar Natatorium will host numerous club, high school, and college swim meets as well as state and national competitions.
