Larry Copeland
M. Larry Copeland, D.O.
Dr. M. Larry Copeland, a board certified orthopedic surgeon is the founder and senior partner of Western Orthopedics & Sports Medicine. He received his medical degree from the University of Health Sciences College of Osteopathic Medicine in Kansas City, Missouri, and completed his orthopedic surgery training in Detroit, Michigan. He and has served as an Associate Professor of Orthopedics at Ohio University.
Dr. Copeland has worked with the Detroit Pistons, Red Wings, and Tigers. He serves as a team physician for Colorado Mesa University in Grand Junction and in recognition of his 30 years of support, Colorado Mesa University recently named its athletic training room the Copeland Family Athletic Training Room.
