Biography

As a Redshirt Freshman (2009-2010): Finished the season 4-9 overall and 3-2 in the RMAC…Wrestled anywhere from 157 to 184.

As a Freshman (2008-2009): Redshirt...Finished season 9-6 and took 5th at the Ft. Hays State Open.

At Fort Morgan High School: Four-year letterwinner…Placed 6th at state as a sophomore, 4th as a junior and was State Champion last season…4A Wrestler of the year…All-Colorado as a senior…Team took 2nd place as a senior.

Personal: Son of Rudolph and Diane Chavez…Twin brother, Rudy, also is a member of the Maverick wrestling team…Enjoys fishing and camping.
