2013-14: NCAA National Championship Qualifier...Won his opening round match against returning All-American Jayd Docken of Augustana...Placed second at the NCAA West Regional...All-RMAC Second Team...Finished the season with an 18-11 record. 

2012-13: Preseason All-RMAC selection...RMAC Wrestler of the Week (Jan. 6)...Finished the season with a 13-19 overall record with six pins...Finished second at the Colorado Mesa Open and fourth at the Old Chicago Northern Colorado Open.

2011-12: NCAA National Championship Qualifier…NCAA Super Region 4/RMAC Champion…RMAC Wrestler of the Week (Feb. 14)…Finished the season with a 16-23 record and 4-5 in RMAC duals…Placed 4th at the Colorado Mesa Open.

2010-11: Finished season 2-8 with 1 fall…Competed in the Wyoming Cowboy Open, Northern Colorado Old Chicago Open, UNK Loper Open, and the Rocky Mountain Open.

At Niwot High School: Finished 33-9 as a senior…Placed 4th at State Meet with a 33-14 record as a junior…Set school record for falls in a season.

Personal: Majoring in Construction Management…Son of Francisco Retana and Maria Quinones…Brother of Carlos and Missael…Chose CMU for the wrestling program…Enjoys the outdoors.
