2025-26 (Redshirt Senior): Received an ITA Scholar-Athlete Award… Went 7-12 in doubles, playing with three different partners… Was 3-10 in duals at No 3… Went 3-9 with Luke Burriesci and 0-1 with Gavin Hutter… Was 4-2 with an additional walkover win in fall tournaments with partner Romain Payan.
2024-25 (Redshirt Junior): Went 4-5 in singles while ranking third on the team in doubles wins (13-13)… Had a 2-4 record in spot singles starts in team matches… Went 2-3 at No. 6 and 0-1 at No. 5… Went 12-11 at No. 3 doubles, playing mostly with Romain Payan… Went 12-8 with him while going 0-3 in spot appearances with Diogo Manzano and Luke Burriesci.
2023-24 (Redshirt Sophomore): Played in exhibition matches.
2022-23 (Redshirt Freshman): Posted a 3-2 official singles record, including a 3-1 mark in fall season individual tournaments… Was 1-3 in doubles, with an 1-1 tournament mark and 0-2 dual mark.
2021-22 (Freshman): Redshirt season.
Prep: 2021 graduate of Stevens High School… Played for Coach Jason Olson and the Raiders… Nominated for the Boy’s Tennis Player of the Year in South Dakota.
Personal: Is majoring in biology… Would like a career involved with sports, possibly as a trainer or physical therapist… Son of Cindy and Eddie Pfingston… Has a younger sister— Lindsey… Loves to be in the outdoors… Playing sports is his main hobby… Also loves to weightlift and be around nature and animals.
Why I Chose CMU: “I chose CMU because I think it is a great campus with a good foundation. I also have a friend that goes there to show me the ropes. I like how the campus is sports focused I think I will fit in that environment very well."
