2023 (Redshirt Junior): Competed in six races… Was the team’s fifth finisher at the Women’s Collegiate Triathlon National Championships, placing 93
rd overall and 25
th amongst Division II finishers… Had a time of 1:14:20 to complete CMU’s third place team finish… Finished 50
th overall and 12
th amongst Division II finishers at the West National Qualifier… Had the team’s sixth fastest time (1:10.52) at the regional… Was also sixth on the team at the Black Hills Collegiate Cup, where she finished 28
th… Placed 15
th at the Denver Aquathlon Eliminator before placing seventh at the Desert’s Edge Triathlon… Also competed on a mixed team at the Yellow Jacket Relays, hosted by her former squad (Black Hills State)... Received at CTCA Honorable Mention Scholar All-America award.
2022-23 (Redshirt Sophomore): Competed in four races… Recorded tenth place finishes at both the Desert’s Edge and Sun Devil Classic… Finished 13
th at the Bearathlon and 25
th at the Southern Hills Triathlon.
Before CMU: Attended and competed at regional rival Black Hills State University during the 2020-21 and 2021-22 academic years… Won on the dean’s list and was a member of the Psi Chi International Honors Society in 2021-22… Was also a SLAP Lab Research Assistant in 2022.
Fall 2021 (As a Redshirt Freshman @ Black Hills State): Qualified for and finished 31
st at the Women’s Collegiate Triathlon National Championships, finishing in 1:13.44… Was third on the team… Had placed 61
st in 1:13.30 at the Smith Mountain Lake, Virginia qualifier… Also placed 11
th overall and third amongst Yellow Jacket racers with a time of 1:10.36 at the Southern Hills Triathlon.
Spring 2021 (As a Freshman @ Black Hills State): Placed 38th in 1:13:32.9 at the Clermont Draft Legal Challenge and sixth in a time of 1:21:42 at the BHSU Triathlon Invite after COVID thwarted the fall season.
Prep: 2020 graduate of Douglas County High School… Was a women’s age group nationals qualifier in triathlon… Qualified for the state cross country championships twice and for the state swimming meet as well… Was a 4-year varsity athlete… Named as a Women’s In Sports Luncheon Nominee and as the Huskie of the Quarter Award Winner during her senior year… Was a scholar athlete award winner throughout her prep career and received the newcomer award in 2016 and was a member of the National Honors Society in 2019-20.
Personal: Is majoring in psychology with a minor in forensic psychology… Wants to study criminal and why they commit the crimes they do…. Hopes to become a part of the FBI or as a crime analyst… Loves hiking and drawing… Older sister Hannah was a former award-winning Maverick triathlete (2018-21).
Why I Chose CMU: “I chose CMU because it has a great forensics program with a lot of hands-on experience, and offers me a lot of opportunities. The campus is also beautiful and I love the dynamic of the triathlon team!”
