2023 Outdoor (Redshirt Senior): Did not compete in any meets.
2022-23 Indoor (Redshirt Senior): Competed in the 60 and 200 meters at the Mavs’ first two meets in Gunnison… Had season best times of 8.37 and 27.99 seconds.
2022 Outdoor (Redshirt Junior): Competed in the 100 and 200 meters at each of the team’s first three meets… Had season-best times of 13.04 and 26.77 in the last of those— Maverick Invite #2… Finished fifth in the 100 and ninth in the 200.
2021-22 Indoor (Redshirt Junior): Competed one time, placing ninth in the 60 meters with a time of 8.43 seconds at the Western Colorado Alumni Open.
2021 Outdoor (Redshirt Sophomore): Competed in the 100 meters at all three of the Mavs’ home meets… Had a season-best time of 13.07 at the Maverick Multi & Open (Apr. 10)… Also ran the 200 meters at the Maverick Open (Mar. 27), posting a time of 27.39 seconds.

2021 Indoor (Junior): Competed in the 60 and 200 meters at both of the Mavs’ opening-weekend meets… Ran a season-best time of 8.32 in the 60 at the Western Slope Challenge (Feb. 5) and a time of 27.69 in the 200 at the Adams State Grizzly Open (Feb. 6).
2020 Outdoor: Season canceled due to the COVID-19 pandemic.
2019-20 Indoor (Sophomore): Competed at seven meets, including the RMAC Championships… Ran the 60 and 200 meters regularly and the 400 meters once… Had three top-5 finishes… Qualified for the conference meet in the 200, finishing 17
th with a time of 27.05… Had a season-best and indoor PR time of 26.73 a week earlier at the Western Colorado Alumni Open (Feb. 21)… That altitude and track-size adjusted time of 26.47 qualified her for the conference meet… Had a career-best time of 8.06 meters in the 60 meters at the Western Colorado Open on Dec. 7 to begin the season… Had a 400-meter time of 1:08.87 at the UCCS Invitational on Dec. 14 in her first and only collegiate effort at that discipline.
2019 Outdoor (Freshman): Competed in five meets, running both the 100 and 200 meters at each... Had season-best times of 12.59(w) and 26.50 at the Mines Kit Mayer Invite (Apr. 13) to qualify for the RMAC Championships, where she finished 18th and 22nd, respectively... Later, had an-official wind-legal best of 12.64 in the 100 meters at the Air Force Twilight Open (May 3) to finish third.
2018-19 Indoor (Freshman): Competed in two meets, both in Gunnison... Turned in season-bests of 8.24 (60) and 27.94 (200) in her second effort there during the Western Colorado Open... Placed seventh in both... Also ran a leg on the Mavs' 4x400 relay at the Western Colorado Open on Dec. 1 to begin the season... Helped the "C" team to place seventh with a time of 4:24.47.
Prep: Set a 200-meter PR of 26.98 to take second at the 3A Metropolitan League Championships as a senior in 2018 with Lutheran HS... Earned 3A First Team All-State honors in the 4x100-meter relay... Helped her team set a state record of 48.95 in that event... Coach was Darwin Horan... Also placed fifth in the 100 with a season-best time of 13.28 at that meet... Her PR is 13.27, set in 2016... Qualified for the state meet in the 200 as both a sophomore (2016) and senior (2018), placing 18th both times... Finished 12th in the 100 meters as a freshman in 2015.
Personal: Is majoring in social work.. Plans to go on to graduate school and become a licensed therapist... Has an end goal to work with children in therapy who had experienced a traumatic event... Daughter of Sunnie and Chris Bottin... Has three younger siblings (Garrett, Hunter, Evan)... Enjoys being active outdoors, whether it be hiking, swimming or hanging out with friends.
Why I Chose CMU: "I decided to go to CMU for all the school has to offer. I knew I wanted to run track in college and Mesa was the perfect fit."
