2023-24 Indoor (Junior): Recorded a long jump mark of 6.54 meters (21-5.5) at the Colorado Running Company Pre-Holiday Invite & Multi, his only meet of the season.
2023 Outdoor (Redshirt Freshman): Competed in four meets, including the RMAC Championships… Qualified in the long jump, finishing 15
th with a leap of 6.34 meters (20-9.75)… Had jumped 6.72 meters (22-0.75) at two of his meets… Set career-best times of 11.34 (100) and 23.09 (200) at the Maverick Invite.
2022-23 Indoor (Sophomore): Competed in five meets, including the RMAC Championships… Contested the long jump at five while running the 60 meters in his first two… Had a career-best long jump mark of 6.79 meters (22-3.5) at the Western Colorado Open, qualifying him for the conference championships, where he finished 16
th with a mark of 6.36 meters (20-10.5)… Had a career-best 60-meter time of 7.25 seconds at the Mountaineer Open & Multi.
2022 Outdoor (Freshman): Redshirt season… Jumped unattached at the Maverick Top Gun Last Chance Meet, posting a long jump mark of 6.58 meters (21-7.25).
2021-22 Indoor (Freshman): Competed in three meets, contesting the 60 meters and long jump at each… Posted a season-best time of 7.28 seconds in the 60 at the Western Colorado Alumni Open… Had jumped 6.40 meters (21-0) at the Mountaineer Open & Multi.
Prep: 2021 graduate of Centaurus High School, where he was an all-conference performer for the Centaurs… Finished 13
th at the 4A State Championships as a senior in the long jump… Won both the long jump and 400 meters at the B-Town Twilight with PR marks of 22-0.25 (LJ) and 51.28… Also had PR times of 11.37 (100) and 23.24 (200) that season.
Club: Posted indoor times of 7.55 (60), 24.11 (200) and 56.35 (400) at The East Coast Invitational in 2021 while running for Real Training.
Personal: Is majoring in English and secondary education… Son of Zaina Ali-El… Originally hails from Chicago… Relative Perrion McClinton plays football at Western Indiana University… Aspires to become an English professor… Enjoys writing poetry and selling clothes...
