2023 Outdoor (Sophomore): Sprinted in four meets, including the RMAC Championships… Qualified in both the 100 and 200 meters, finishing 17th and 22nd in those events with times of 11.05 and 22.71 seconds, respectively… Had set wind-legal career-best times of 10.70 and 21.80 earlier in the year… The 100 time came en-route to a third place finish at the Kit Mayer Classic and ranks him fourth (tie) in CMU history… Is ranked fifth in program history for the 200 with his effort, which came at the CSU Pueblo Open… Was ranked tenth on the RMAC’s season-long performance list in the 100 and 12th in the 200 with altitude-adjusted times of 10.73 and 21.87… Helped the Mavs to a winning time of 40.97 seconds in the 4x100-meter relay at the Maverick Invite, a time that ranks seventh in CMU history… Named to the RMAC All-Academic Honor Roll... Also received USTFCCCA All-Academic honors.

2022-23 Indoor (Sophomore): Ran the 60 meters at seven different meets, including the RMAC Championships… Finished seventh in the RMAC final with a time of 6.90 seconds after qualifying in 6.85… Won the event at the Western Colorado Open in a season-best time of 6.84… Ran the 200 meters one time, posting a time of 23.00 seconds at the Minnesota State Massive Meet #2… Named to the RMAC All-Academic Honor Roll.

2022 Outdoor (Freshman): Ran in five meets, contesting the 100 meters in each… Also ran in the 4x100-meter relay on three occasions, helping the Mavs post three of the five fastest times in program history at the time, times that now rank fourth, fifth and ninth… Posted a wind-legal season-best of 10.84 seconds in the 100 to place tenth at the RMAC Championships… Also earned Second Team All-RMAC honors after helping the Mavs win the silver medal with a school-record time of 40.69 in the relay… Went on to win both the 100 and the 4x100 relay at the Maverick Top Gun Last Chance… The time of 41.34 was ninth fastest in program history with that time… Helped the Mavs post a time of 40.85 at the APU Last Chance, fifth fastest in CMU history… Had run to a wind-aided time of 10.65 at the Maverick Invite #2 in the 100… Ranks fifth in CMU’s all-conditions record book with that effort.

2021-22 Indoor (Freshman): Competed in six meets, including the RMAC Championships in his debut collegiate season… Earned First Team All-RMAC honors in the 60 meters after placing third at the conference meet in a season-best time of 6.79 seconds… Ranks second in program history with that NCAA provisional qualifying effort that ranked him fourth (tie) on the RMAC performance list at 6.83 (altitude-adjusted)… Was also tied for 39th nationally… Also took 17th in the 200 meters (23.35) at the RMAC Championships after running a season-best of 22.28 at the Mel Tjeerdsma Classic in his first collegiate meet… Ranks seventh in CMU history with that time… Won the 60 meters at the Western Colorado Open in 6.82 in his second meet.

Prep: Won the 100-meter title while placing second in the 200 at the 2021 Colorado 5A State Championships during his senior year with the Eaglecrest High School Raptors… Won the Centennial League title in both and set PR times of 10.58 (100) and 21.56 (200) during the year… Also won the USATF Colorado title in the 100… Had set PRs of 6.99 (60) and 22.65 (200) during the winter of 2021… Had finished sixth at the 2019 5A State meet as a sophomore in 2019… Graduated in 2021 with a 4.00 GPA.

Personal: Is majoring in public accounting… Aspires to become a professional track & field athlete... Parents are Kenya and Shawn… Has one sibling— Kendal… Enjoys drawing, dancing, soccer and gym time.

Why I Chose CMU: “The university's environment made me feel comfortable and the coaches and I clicked really quickly. I felt it would be the place for my success."
