2022-23 Outdoor (Redshirt Senior): Did not compete following his indoor season-ending injury.
2022-23 Indoor (Redshirt Senior): Competed in the triple jump at two meets before suffering a career-ending injury during the second— the Minnesota State Massive Meet #2— which prevented him from competing in the championship meets … Still won that meet with a mark of 15.55 meters (51-0.25) on his lone legal mark… Had broke his own school and facility-record with a mark of 16.17 meters (53-0.75) at the season-opening Mountaineer Open & Multi… That mark was the RMAC’s best all-time mark for part of the season before another athlete (Adams State’s Papay Glaywulu) set the NCAA Division II all-time record (16.61m) later in the season… Rigsby’s mark was also the best collegiate mark (all divisions) of the season for part of the season and ended up second on the season-long NCAA Division II performance list… It also led the world-wide season list for a short time in December… He would have also qualified for the NCAA Division I Championships with it… Earned USTFCCCA All-Region honors with it… The mark ranks him 11
th on the all-time NCAA Division II performers list… Was named as USTFCCCA NCAA Division II National Athlete of the Week, becoming the first Maverick to ever earn the national honor… Was also named as the RMAC Field Athlete of the Week after both of his meets on Dec. 13 & Feb. 14.
2022 Outdoor (Redshirt Senior): Redshirt season… Competed unattached at the Maverick Invite #1… Won the triple jump with a mark of 14.92 meters (48-11.5) after placing third in the long jump with a leap of 6.88 meters (22-7).
2021-22 Indoor (Redshirt Junior): Competed in seven meets, earning USTFCCCA All-America honors and a RMAC title in the triple jump… Placed third at the NCAA Division II National Championships after breaking his own school-record with a mark of 15.93 meters (52-3.25)… Had won the RMAC crown and the ensuing first team all-conference honors with a RMAC Championship and then school-record mark of 15.91 meters (52-2.5)… Led the RMAC and NCAA Division II South Central Regional performance lists with that effort, which allowed him to garner USTFCCCA All-Region and Top Performer accolades… Was ranked second on the national performance list… Claimed four triple jump wins in six meets… Had set a then school-record mark of 15.27 meters (50-1.25) at the Western Colorado Open… Named as the RMAC Field Athlete of the Week after that meet, which also saw him record a career-best long jump effort of 6.92 meters (22-8.5)… Also won the triple jump at the Mel Tjeerdsma Classic and the Mountaineer Open & Multi… Is tied for seventh in CMU history for the long jump with his aforementioned leap.
2021 Outdoor (Redshirt Junior): Had his long-awaited and record-setting first season as a Maverick… Competed in the triple jump at five meets, including the RMAC and NCAA Division II National Championships… Set the school-record while placing second at the RMAC Championships with a mark of 15.70 meters (51-6.25)… Earned First Team All-RMAC and USTFCCCA All-South Central Region honors with that mark before going on to claim First Team All-America plaudits with a seventh place finish at the national meet in Allendale, Michigan… Went well over the former school-record of 14.46 meters in all five meets, claiming top-3 finishes in each of his four meets before the national championships… Won the Mines Last Chance meet.
2021 Indoor: Did not compete in any meets during the pandemic-effected campaign.
2020 Outdoor: Season canceled by the COVID-19 pandemic

2019-20 Indoor: Redshirt season… Transferred to CMU in the spring of 2020 after spending 2 ½ years at the University of Colorado.
2019 Outdoor (Sophomore @ Colorado): Competed in six meets, contesting the long jump at each… Also contested the triple jump three times… Finished ninth in the triple jump and 18
th in the long jump at the Pac-12 Championships… Swept both events at the Cardinal Classic… Had a season-best long jump effort of 7.02 meters (23-0.5) at that meet… Had a career-best triple jump mark of 14.80 meters (48-6.75) at the Colorado Invitational… Stands fifth in CU history with that effort.
2018-19 Indoor (Sophomore @ Colorado): Competed in the long jump five meets… Had a season-best of 6.99 meters (22-11.25) at the Mines Alumni Classic & Multi to begin the year… Finished 17
th at the MPSF Championships… Also contested the triple jump three times, finishing third in each effort… Had a season-best of 14.49 meters (47-6.5) at the Air Force Invitational.
2018 Outdoor (Freshman @ Colorado): Competed in six meets, including the Pac-12 Championships… Finished eighth in the triple jump and ninth in the long jump at that meet… Had set season-bests of 7.25 meters (23-9.5) and 14.72 meters (48-3.5) at the Cardinal Classic… The long jump mark puts him ninth on the Buffs’ all-time top performers list… Won both events at the CU Invitational…
2017-18 Indoor (Freshman @ Colorado): Competed in six meets as a true freshman for the Buffs… Turned in season-bests of 7.32 meters (24-0.25) and 14.63 meters (48’-0) in the long and triple jumps in his collegiate debut at the Mines Alumni Classic & Multi… Ranks ninth in CU indoor history with that triple jump mark… Won the long jump at the Potts Invitational… Finished 11
th in the triple jump and 14
th in the long jump at the Mountain Pacific Sports Federation Championships.
Prep: Won the 5A state title in the long jump as a senior with the Fruita Monument HS Wildcats in 2017 capping an undefeated season in that event… Set a then PR of 23-2.5 to begin the season at the Mickey Dunn Invitational… Was the Southwestern League Champion as well… Also took second in the triple jump at the state meet with a PR of 49-0.5 after winning each of his previous five meets, including the SWL Championships… Was a first team all-state honoree…Finished second in the triple jump and fifth in the high jump at the 3A 2016 state championships as a junior while attending and competing for Grand Valley High School in Parachute… Had a high jump PR of 6-3 to begin that season… Finished second in both the high and long jump events at the Western Slope League Meet… Set school-records at both schools… Was also a 2-time first team all-conference basketball player.
Personal: Is majoring in mass communications... Son of Brock and Mindy Rigsby… Has five siblings-- Gabby, Bailey, Lily, Kieran and Blake... Relative Brennan Rigsby, Jr. plays basketball at the University of Oregon.Â
