2022 Outdoor (Redshirt Sophomore): Competed in each of CMU’s first four meets, including the RMAC Championships… Ran the 400-meter hurdles in each… Earned Second Team All-RMAC honors with a fifth place finish at the conference championships with a time of 54.83 seconds… Had won that event with a career-best time of 54.39 at the Maverick Invite #2… Ranks third in program history with that time… Also ranked seventh on the season-long RMAC performance list with the altitude-adjusted mark of 54.50… Also ran to a career-best time of 22.83 seconds in the 200 at the Maverick Invite #2… Named to the RMAC All-Academic Honor Roll.

2021-22 Indoor (Redshirt Sophomore): Competed in four meets, running the 400 meters at each… Also competed in the 200 meters and 4x400-meter relay once each… Had a career-best 400 time of 50.83 seconds to begin the year at the Mel Tjeerdsma Classic… Ranks seventh in program history with that time… Ran a leg on CMU’s 4x400-meter relay team at that meet… The squad posted a time of 3:19.59, a school-record at the time… That mark is still second fastest in program history… Ran the 200 meters in 23.36 seconds at the Western Colorado Open… Had three top-4 finishes throughout the season… Named to the RMAC All-Academic Honor Roll.

2021 Outdoor (Redshirt Freshman): Competed in three meets, including the RMAC Championships… Ran the 400 meter-hurdles at each, posting a career-best time of 54.52 seconds to finish fifth at the RMAC Championships… Earned Second Team All-RMAC honors with the effort… Won the event at both the Maverick Multi & Open and Maverick Sun Classic, setting the track record of 55.29 at the Multi & Open… Also ran on CMU’s 4x400-meter relay team at the RMAC Championships, helping the Mavs finish fifth with a former school-record time of 3:17.40, a time that is now third fastest in school-history… Named to the RMAC All-Academic Honor Roll.
 
2021 Indoor (Sophomore): Ran in one meet of the abbreviated season, contesting the 400 meters at the CRC UCCS Open… Finished that race in 52.07 seconds… Named to the RMAC All-Academic Honor Roll.

2020 Outdoor: Season canceled due to the COVID-19 pandemic.

2019-20 Indoor (Freshman): Competed in six meets, including at the RMAC Championships… Contested three heptathlons finishing 11th at the conference meet… Had qualified by scoring 4,355 points in his collegiate debut at the Mines Alumni Classic (Dec. 5-6)… Ranks ninth in program history with that score…. Was 12th on the RMAC season-long performers list with a converted mark of 4,394… Ranks third in program-history with his 1,000-meter time of 2:48.69, set at the Mines Winter Classic & Multi… Had other-season best efforts of 7.28 (60), 6.47m/21-2.75 (LJ) and 1.64m/5-4.5 (HJ) in his debut… Posted a season-best time of 8.82 in the 60-meter hurdles at the UCCS Invite (Dec. 14)… Ran the 400 meters in a season-best 50.98 seconds at the Don Kirby Elite Invitational… Had other season-bests of 2:05.31 (800), 3.15m/10-4 (PV) and 10.02m/32-10.5 (SP).

Prep: Named as the 2017 Southern Peaks League Athlete of the Year as a senior with the Sanford HS Indians, coached by his mother Cynthia... Went on to finish second at the 2A state championships in the 300-meter hurdles with a PR time of 40.48 seconds... Also took fourth in the 110-meter hurdles and fifth in the 4x400-meter relay and sixth in the triple jump... Had other PR's of 16.01 (110 Hurdles), 23.82 (200), 53.02 (400), 19-7.5 (LJ) and 43-7 (TJ) during his 2017 senior season.

Personal: Is majoring in business finance... Aspires to go on to law school and then would like o open a law firm and practice immigration law... Has a sister-- Paige... Enjoys playing the ukulele and the guitar, raising goats, playing disc golf and flipping penny stocks.

Why I Chose CMU: "I chose CMU because it was the best fit for me academically, in athletics and geographically."
