2021-22 (Graduate at CMU):
Competed in ten meets as a graduate student, equal to the most on the team… Competed at the NCAA Division II Championships as a relay-only swimmer after a strong RMAC Championship meet… Earned Second Team CSCAA All-America honors as the second leg on CMU’s tenth place 200 free relay team… Won four conference titles and four First Team All-RMAC honors, claiming the 50 free individually while anchoring the Mavs to victory in the 200 medley, 200 free and 400 free relays… Won the 50 free in 23.74 seconds after setting an even quicker NCAA “B” cut qualifying and season-best time of 23.68 to rank fifth (tie) in CMU history… Had also won the event at the A3 Performance Invitational… Finished fifth in the 100 breast, sixth in the 100 fly and seventh in the 100 free at the RMAC Championships… Set season-best altitude-adjusted times of 52.38 (100 free), 1:05.59 (100 breast) and 58.08 (100 fly) during the RMAC meet… The 100 breast time was a personal-best… Accounted for 59 team points in her four individual events and another 30 when including her share of the relay wins.

2020-21 (Senior at Oklahoma Baptist): Served as the team captain for the Bison, who took third place as a team at the Rocky Mountain Athletic Conference Championships held in CMU’s El Pomar Natatorium… Earned a pair of First Team All-RMAC honors as the anchor leg on OBU’s second place 200 medley and 200 free relay teams… Also helped the Bison take third in the 400 free relay and fourth in the 400 medley relay earning Second Team All-RMAC honors in both of those events… Placed eighth in the 100 back individual event while scoring team points in all seven of her events at the conference meet… Won the consolation final of the 50 free while placing 12th in the 100 free… Set altitude-adjusted season-best times of 24.03 (50 free), 53.15 (100 free) and 58.16 (100 back) at the RMAC Championships… Accounted for 25 team points in her three individual events and for 57 ½ total team points when accounting for her share of the relay points… Claimed two dual meet wins earlier in the season… Named to the RMAC All-Academic Honor Roll… Was named to the President’s Honor Roll for the second straight year.

2019-20 (Junior at Oklahoma Baptist): Earned three total All-RMAC certificates as the anchor leg on the Bison’s 200 medley, 200 free and 400 medley relay teams at the RMAC Championships, hosted by CMU… Helped the Bison take second in the 400 medley relay to earn first team all-conference plaudits… Earned second team honors in the 200 medley and 200 free relays with third place finishes… Reached the championship final in both the 50 and 100 free, finishing sixth and eighth, respectively… Also scored in the  100 back with a ninth place finish after swimming a season-best time of 58.33… Won the 100 free at the Sam Freas Invite to begin the season winning three events in a Jan. 25 RMAC dual against Oklahoma Christian… Also won the 100 back against Henderson State on Feb. 1… Had season-best and NCAA “B” cut time of 23.75 seconds in the 50 free at the Mizzou Invitational… Also set personal-best times of 52.21 (100 free) and 57.32 (100 fly) at that meet… Earned Honorable Mention Scholar All-America honors… Was named to the President’s Honor Roll.

2018-19 (Sophomore at Oklahoma Baptist): Earned three total, including a pair of first team, CSCAA All-America honors as the anchor leg on three OBU relays at the NCAA Division II National Championships in Indianapolis, Indiana… Helped the Bison take third in the 200 free relay and eighth in the 400 free relay… They also placed 11th in the 200 medley relay… Helped the Bison win three relay titles at the RMAC Championships in Lewisville, Texas… Anchored the 200 medley relay team to a NCAA qualifying time of 1:43.24 before helping the 200 free relay team to winning and NCAA qualifying time of 1:33.04… Also swam the butterfly leg on the winning 400 medley relay team earning a third First Team All-RMAC certificate… Was also a second team individual honoree after placing fourth in the 50 free… Had posted a personal-best of 23.53 and NCAA “B” cut time of 23.53 in the preliminary rounds… Also advanced to the championship finals in the 100 free and 100 back placing fifth and seventh, respectively… Had season-best times of 52.29 and 57.83 in the preliminary round of those events… Won the 100 back in a triangular against Oklahoma Christian and Ouachita Baptist on Jan. 19.

2017-18 (Freshman at Oklahoma Baptist): Earned the first of what would be 12 All-RMAC certificates in the Bison portion of her career placing fourth in the 50 free at the RMAC Championships in Lewisville, Texas… Placed fourth with a season-best time of 23.66… Also qualified for the championship final in the 100 fly, placing eighth after posting a season-best of 57.69 in the prelims… Also finished 12th in both the 100 free and 100 breast after turning in season-best times of 52.82 and 1:07.40 in the prelims… Won the 100 free at the OK JTSC Gobbler Invitational.

Prep: Was home schooled and graduated in 2017… Swam for Lewis-Palmer High School and Coach Alan Arata… Was a state qualifier for all four years of her prep career… Won the Pikes Peak Athletic Conference title in the 200 individual medley in 2013… Was a 2016 and 2017 Academic All-American.
Personal: Is pursuing a master’s degree in athletic training… Aspires to work as an athletic trainer for a swim team at the collegiate level… Daughter of Roger and Carol Day… Has seven siblings.

Why I Chose CMU: “I chose CMU because the team was a good fit for me, and they had a great athletic training master's program.”
