2021-22 (Freshman): Set NCAA “B” cut times in all four of his individual events during the A3 Performance Invitational, his only meet of the season… Won the 200 fly with an altitude-adjusted time of 1:48.83 to rank third in program history… Placed second in both the 200 free (1:40.04) and 200 IM (1:49.67) while placing fourth in the 100 fly (48.96)… Ranks eighth in program history for both the 100 fly and 200 IM.
Prep: 2021 graduate of Monte Vista High School… Swam for the Joe Natina coached Mustangs… Qualified for the CIF State Championships in the 200 free.
Club: Was a 5-event finalist and the runner-up in the 100 free at the 2019 Far Western Long Course Championships while swimming for the Crow Canyon Country Club Sharks… Also placed third in the 1000 free and fourth in the 1650 free at the Far Western Short Course Championships earlier that year… Was eighth in the 200 free at the Speedo Champions Series meet in Santa Clarita.
Personal: Is majoring in kinesiology… Son of Jeff and Anita Hartman… Has two siblings— Zoie and Bailey… Aspires to become a physical therapist… Enjoys outdoor activities.
